We are off to Shrewsbury tomorrow morning, first we are having a boat trip on the river Severn then it's off to the pub for a spot of lunch and then we wil have a stroll around The Quarry Park. Hardly slept,been very muggy during the night.

Lovely day again.... I hoovered the swimming pool yesterday (does this count as housework?) and a nice swim, it was cold, but refreshing. Will have another swim after lunch

a dish to put your feet in is all we can manage haha
Its so hot hear glad I do my housework early all the windows and doors open but not even a breeze so having a very lazy day and they say its going to get hotter

I went out at 8.30, to get the grass cut before it got too warm. Tomorrows housework will be started at the crack of dawn.

Had a lovely day out today in spite of the heat! Had a private visit to the Wren Library in Trinity College Cambridge, drinks in one of the Don's rooms then lunch in Strada with a group I belong to. Then I had a wander round shops and got a lovely present for my niece's 40th birthday and some sandals and new library books. Now sitting in shade relaxing before I head off to T'ai Ch'i !

it is very very hot here. I am taking some special needs students on a site trip tomorrow, dreading the tube. I should be on there right in the rush hour but I think I will go a bit earlier. If I need to hang around for a while it isn't the worst thing in the world. I had a dizzy spell a couple of days ago. No warning.
I shall be lugging a few bits around with me, my PPE, a spare pair of boots for a small footed person, give aways for the kids. Yes I will go earlier, it will be easier.If you want to go fast go alone, if you want to go far go togetherComment

Spent today making the bunting. Turned out well. Just need to finish a few ends off. DD rang....'sorry it's late' she says, 'I need a big ask'. Could I have baby J tomorrow as his daddy was going to have him but is so snowed under with work? He's self employed so I couldn't refuse. 9-5, so I guess I'll be in bed for 5:30. π
