I had a call at eight tonight from a number I didn't know. I was just about to say 'If this is a cold call...etc" when she said she was from MRI Dpt. They had a late cancellation & because I live down the road was it possible for me to go? I was there like a shot. My follow up app't at the eye clinic is for 6wks time as the scan results take so long. Hopefully it will be sooner now. Yippee.👏👏

Very windy and sunny here - washing blowing on the line
Today instead of bringing GD here after school I have to take her to her house (not far from the school) Give her tea, which DD will have left and for me as well, then if DD not back by bedtime put her to bed. SIL is working away which is rare, and DD as well, which is not rare. There is an overlap and she wont be back until sometime this evening. Grandma to the rescue! We swapped my usual Wednesday with her to today, and problem solved!

Thanks for your good wishes everyone re self & DD. How is it possible to have a 39yr old DD when I only feel 18? 😱 It's my birthday next month & OH gave me an early present today. It's a new mobile 'phone. He said he was hoping this one wouldn't make me curse so much. I'm feeling all techno'd out. Something else I need to learn. Don't get me wrong, I'm really grateful. For example tho' what is a widget? I thought it was one of those 'things' they sometimes put in the bottom of cans. So much to learn for an ageing brain.

This morning I need to take my mum to a routine appointment. Then we will go out to lunch, do her weekly shop and I'll go home with her for a couple of hours.
It rained ALL NIGHT!!

Morning ladies not feeling in a good mood this morning , went to have Hubbys tubes flushed yesterday and when we got back he felt poorly well since 1pm yesterday hes had the dreaded S&D bug he spent all the rest of day and night in and out of toilet and bed feels better this morning but not fully recovered , I am so tired , then had a phone call the oven that is too big and had to go back cant be collected till Sunday now so that's still in sitting room and then another phone call to say the other new oven due today will not come till Monday now im off to have my hair cut at 11 that may make me feel better

I'm spending my day working out my new fone. My last one was a 'nearly new' iPhone but this one's a Samsung. EEEKKK. Fun day for me. 😱

I have a Samsung Mamar and I love it and I am a bit thick when it comes to technology
