Oma, a friend of my nephews daughter died a few weeks ago, same age, hers was a blood clot caused by the pill!

I got message from GD2 that all is working well so I have let the man know, he said there must have been a fault in the screen and he is going to return it to his supplier.

I have been for a bike ride, warmer than I expected but I coped.

DS1 is on his way to Scotland from Durham and called in at his cousins, they haven't seen each other in years! They live in Longhaughton near Alnwick, if fact the children and families all live in Alnwick.

Oh dear, what a day yesterday Daisy, and not getting the early night you needed just to add to it

Plant the codeine should help and I presume they will give you antibiotics if it's an infection.

Oma and Lizzie, how awful about those poor girls.
      I love Alnwick Lizzie.

GS1 and I loved the film Twisters and were both impressed, thrilled and slightly scared by the film! A very exciting film.

Gem, DS1 just phoned, he said he has fallen in love with Northumberland!!! His cousin was so surprised to see him, his wife didn't recognise him when she opened the door! It is 17 years ago that we saw them at his brothers wedding.

We have to take a sample to the surgery in the morning Oma so that they know what they are dealing with. Very painful atm, keep moving from one chair to another but can’t get comfortable.

            Love Northumberland.

Plant, drink as much as you can, I don't think they should have let you home without any medicine at all.xxxx

Plant, hopefully getting a better sample tomorrow will help to get a definite diagnosis and rapid treatment. It's horrible being in so much pain. I agree with lizzie - drink as much water as you can.

Oma and Lizzie - how awful for those young girls and their families. I'm surprised a golf club didn't have a defibrillator.

Oma, I agree about the dog poo. Just take it home, it's not difficult! While I was searching, I was imagining having to 'confess' on our local WA group about losing the poo, probably in such a very posh, immaculate road! Oh, the shame!

Lizzie, I'm sure your DS1 is having a great time. I would love to visit Northumberland one day, and I know very little of Scotland - Edinburgh, Lock Lomond, Fort William, and that's about it!

Gem, good to find a film you and GS enjoyed so much.

I pottered round the garden this morning. We had a late lunch in the garden and later went out for a quick drive with our neighbours to Buckler's Hard, near Beaulieu. Back in the day, it was a ship building village where Nelson's fleet for the battle of Trafalgar was built. We sat outside with a drink, watching the boats on the Beaulieu river - a lovely sunny afternoon.

                  Good morning everyone.

Daisy that looks a lovely place to visit.

Thinking of Plant this morning and hoping she will feel much better soon.

Aqua for me this morning and probably coffee. I have a 2pm appointment for my holiday toe nails. This will be my last appointment of the year. Unless I win the lottery and whisk us us to the gulf coast
Golf for OH, not a competition just a game with a friend.

It rained a lot during the night, but the sun is peeping through now.
                  Have a good day everyone.

                      Good morning.Sun is shining.

I'm late checking in this morning. Cleaned the fridge ready for shopping coming tomorrow.
Toaster has been cleaned out,the crumbs went out for the birds.

Plant, hope you get some relief from the pain soon. Hope it isn't kidney stones.

Daisy, Bucklers Hard looks a lovely place.

Oma, how sad about the young girl, such a young age. Tragic.
Can you remember a few weeks ago,we were talking about crispy sliced potatoes, well i got some yesterday from Iceland.

No plans for us as yet for today.

Not sure what dinner is,whatever it is will be a homemade ready meal from the freezer.

Good Wednesday morning, everyone. We've got sunshine, and it's already quite warm.

Plant, hope you get some answers and treatment today. Sending hugs. xx

Gem, enjoy your aqua session. What colour have you chosen for your 'new' mails today? When do you go on holiday? (I'm sure you've said, but I must have missed it.). Is it family or just the two of you?

Oma, I hope B's blood tests are ok. It's time we cleaned the windows inside, but I can't see it happening just yet! Have a relaxing day, then I won't feel so guilty!

Nanto, you've been a busy bee already! Crispy sliced potatoes sound lovely. Last night I did courgette crisps, just because I had a courgette to use up. I slightly overcooked them and used a bit too much oil, but I'll try them in the air fryer next time.

I got up early this morning. I woke up about 6.30 and thought I'd get on with a few jobs. I've portioned up enough dog food to keep both Eva and Bailey fed for a few days. Cleaned the utility room - much needed, especially where the dogs food bowl are. I didn't realise how splashed the wall was until I saw Eva licking it yesterday! Cleaned the hob and extractor thingy, done a bit of pottering in the garden, and have just realised what the time is and I haven't even had a shower yet!

Oma, yes, Buckler's Hard was a thriving ship building area. Also during WWII that part of the Forest was where a lot of top secret training went on. We had a very interesting talk about it at the Family History Group a few years ago. And a lot of troops were shipped from nearby Lepe for the D-day landings.

I haven’t showered yet Daisy, quite an effort. DD has collected my prescribed tablets and sorted them all out for me. I already take 7 a day. It is thought to be a kidney infection, , I now have an antibiotic. Sample now gone to surgery. Pain still bad, goes into a spasm at times.

OH and I have been to Buckler’s Yard a couple of times.

Plant, the pain coming in waves sounds a bit more like kidney stones to me. Whatever it is you need some relief very soon xxx

Daisy I will probably choose Mermaids Tears or something similar. A paler blue. The ones I have now are somewhere better a denim blue and navy.
We go to Majorca on Wednesday.

A relief aqua instructor today. Not as good as out regular but not bad . I had coffee with 3 of my friends.

Oh Plant that does sound like kidney stones , although I hope not .

I like the sound of Mermaids tears 😁

GS turned up for lunch again 😁

I have cleaned all the windows upstairs and down and all the mirrors except the big one in the dinning room .
Will tackle that tomorrow it’s a pain in the bum.

Window cleaner came and did the outsides it’s bound to rain now 🙄

Oma, I hope it didn't rain, although talking to my sister-in-law in North Wales it was raining there this morning.

Plant, I hope the antibiotics sort the pain out for you, but be kind to yourself and rest as much as you need to. I hope it's not kidney stones. I hope you've got hapy memories of visiting Bucker's Hard with your OH. I'm sure it hasn't changed much.

Gem, the Mermaid's Tears sounds a very pretty colour. Are you away for a week?

Oma, I hope you had in whatever GS wanted for lunch. Although I think most teenage lads are always ready to eat anything you put in front of them.

We've had a beautiful sunny day and have spent most of it gardening. Despite the kindness of DS2 and our neighbour our garden hasn't had much TLC this summer, so today we set to and got a lot of jobs done. OH took out a Pittosporum that had died in the winter. He started to prepare the bed where I want to make a little memory garden for DS1. He's got to put trellis up for a couple of climbers which will hopefully hide a very ugly Willsonian tree belonging to a neighbour. I'd like to fill the bed with DS1's favourite plants plus some that have kindly been given to us in his memory.

I tidied up the edges of the lawn and gave it a good cut. Then I weeded all the pots, topped dressed if they looked a bit frail and finally watered. It was a lovely evening so we had a glass of wine and dinner in the garden.

Definitely ready for bed now, though.
