Enfys Sunday is a strange day when you are on your our own. My ex worked away a lot and I found Sundays the hardest.

Oma DD and SIL were both very upset, as was I.

We won't know what happened to Suki unless they have a post mortem which I don't think they will as it's expensive. She ate and used the litter tray as normal and went out at 8.30. Back in at 10.30, taken Ill, and died by midday on the way to the vets. She was so beautiful and in good shape it was heartbreaking to see her little body. I told GS3 she was asleep. He's far too young to understand.

Gem so sad to hear about your DD and SIL’s cat . As you say a post mortem would be very expensive. How old was the cat ?


Yesterday was a lovely sunny day and we spent a lot of time outside just enjoying the sunshine.
Today we are going out to eat garden centre for a browse and have lunch in the restaurant. No doubt we will pick up a few things we hadn’t planned on buying

Didn't feel like doing a graphic, due to Daisy's situation.

The bottom of our street is being closed off from today, they are laying new pavements.
In the letter it said there may be times when access to properties might not be possible with vehicles.
Hubby never parks on the street. He always pulls onto the drive, even if he's going back out 5 minutes later.
They say work can take up to 7 days.
If hubby can't get onto our drive, he won't be a happy chappy.
Anyway, we'll see how it goes.

Dinner is baby potatoes that will be air fryer,so will the bacon. Baked beans will be done in the microwave. Nice easy dinner.

Mimi, I would say Suki was around 8 maybe? They got her at around a year old. DD and I have been chatting about all the happy memories of her this morning.

Nan2 I hope the pavement laying isn't too noisy.

Nothing planned today. I cancelled my aquafit class last night. I'm definitely starting to feel better, but it was the right decision as I couldn't manage an energetic class yet, especially in the morning.

My DD can’t go to a garden centre without buying another plant , my SIL has banned her going alone she spends to much when she is alone 😁

My Niece is being moved to a specialist respiratory ward today , still on oxygen and unable to walk far but making such good progress she doesn’t need to be on ICU now
We are going in to see her tomorrow .

Just been to feed the cats and fish , had Storm out for a walk first thing before it gets too warm , he’s now flat out in the garden.

No real plans today, might do a bit more gardening, very little, very slowly. Lovely to have GD2 and her partner living here, they are going to see a house this week. Weather looks good so far.

There is vans and lorries here, plenty of workmen, but can't see or hear any action.

Looking a bit overcast, but it might improve.

Half of the pavement has been dug out.
Ours will be dug out today. We live on a corner and the pavement to our property is half of the street.

Going into town with hubby this morning. We'll part company when hubby meets his pal.
I want to go to the butchers and get a few other bits.

Probably just put a pizza in for dinner.

We off to our farm shop to stock up on meat this morning
I then have a checkup with Dentist at 11 then visit Niece in hospital between 3-4

I am giving the library a miss this morning as this croaky voice isn't good for working with the public! I have an appointment for my gel toe nails this afternoon. I just did a covid test as it a small home salon so it would be unfair to be so close to her if it's that. Luckily it was negative. If it stays fine I will try to get outside this morning.

No other plans today as I am picking up GS1 tomorrow instead of today this week.

No updates for Daisy but I am in touch with her.

Good morning, dull here at the moment, I have been on the bike to Zoetermeer, through the woods, now the allergy is playing up!

Nanto, the streets are always being opened up here, the one down from here is at the moment, no idea why though.

I have a dentist appointment as well today Oma.

I have to keep thinking about Daisy and family.
