Nanto, I'm pleased you're back to your Saturday outings, and extra bonuses seeing DS2 and DIL as well as no cooking. You'll be forgetting where your kitchen is at this rate. Have fun.

Gem, your massage lady sounds wonderful. I wish you could see her every week, as well. What a long lunch you and D had yesterday - I bet you were both surprised at how the time had flown by.

Oma, J is very good at operating on much-loved dog toys. Poor Ducky is only recognisable as a duck by his colour and one webbed foot, but Eva and Missy love him! (For those who are wondering what we're on about, Oma gave Eva this soft toy when they stayed here before going on a cruise from Southampton, some years ago! Eva fell instantly in love with both Oma and Ducky.)

I've been waiting for weeks to make this next comment. I hope to get some gardening done this morning before it gets too hot.

DD2s 2 and 3 and children are coming this afternoon to bring OH's birthday presents (and a little cake I gather for an impromptu surprise party!) Tonight is OH's birthday meal out. Ten of us going to Rustique a restaurant I really like.
This morning OH wants to buy some potting compost so we are going out for that.

We still laugh how Eva snuggled up to me but kept trying to shove B off the sofa with her back legs 🤣🤣

We have been to B&Q this morning , I wanted top soil to fill my new pots and gravel plus plant food ,
From there we went to Lidl for a few bits mainly stuff to make a curry with and some fruit.

Will be a day in the garden sorting pots etc.

As usual lots happening here today. DD and Sil have their two eldest GC overnight, their parents are going to a hen do and are taking T. DD and her partner are moving back here this morning until they find a house to buy. They will use the cabin as an office. I shall be keeping out of the way.

A lovely weekend for OH
Tomorrow DD and GS1 are coming in the morning to bring her presents. In the afternoon there is bowling . 6 bowlers and 3 non bowlers, then back here for birthday cake.

My friend D is my ex's OH. We have never spent any time together alone before, usually just meeting up at family get togethers. I think we both enjoyed it even more than we expected

Lovely weather, the three GGC have had the sprinkler going, H has gone home now, she had a lovely time with her cousins who are here for the night. GD and her partner have just arrived with all their possessions haven’t spoken to them yet, they must be very tired.

We had a good time in town this morning.
Came straight home after we had eaten. I decided i wanted to get the grass cut.
There is a possibility of some rain tomorrow.

Good morning, I am still feeling awful, I have come to the conclusion that it is the allergy to dogs! I was at DS2 for lunch, we sat indoors a few hours, I never thought about it, but, that must have started it off, I had the same a few years ago when we were all away for the weekend, dogs had been in the house, I came home with pneumonia. It will clear, but, I will remember next time!

It is Mothers Day here, I have been invited to DS1 for lunch, I hope I feel like going, I will though. The cough has gone, now the rest.

Not doing a lot today, don't think there is much to do. All the gardening is done, I'll probably just make sure everything is tidy in the house.

Full of busy at your place then , it will be nice to have your GD near till they find a house,
Its so stressful for the young ones buying houses these days.

I have been up very early again so housework all done had a shower and cleaned the outside of the patio doors,

They were full of dust , yesterday we potted up the box hedge in the three new tall planters we have put out the front .
B then decided to sand the sleepers around the boarders with a belt sander ready to repaint , so dust everywhere,
I even had to hose my plants down they were covered in it.

Just getting in the shower and I heard him in the shed , it was only 6.50am
I knew he was up to something so I wrapped myself in my dressing gown and went to investigate.

Here he is pulling the pressure hose out he wanted to do the path around the shed and up to the gate.
I had to remind him it wasn’t even 7 o’clock yet on a Sunday morning 😱
The neighbours would love us if he started this early .
Im making him wait till at least 9am ,

We are up so early he forgets what time it is ,
At the moment he’s sorting down the side of the shed , he’s dragged the bins out to pressure hose them too .
