We off to pick Storm up from our friends , I've prepared his dinner , scrambled eggs with cheese
His tea is a Sunday roast I cooked and bagged a batch last week so just defrost and make gravy , he does like his veg and gravy 😁

I will pop back later got to go see to cats and the fish first x

I hope Glamma's first night back home went well.

We have some post Christmas tidying up to do today.
This afternoon we are going to see Wonka at the cinema. We have a voucher from DD1 which will expire soon. It's the cinema with the sofas, we have never been. Looking at the prices we wont be going again It will be a nice treat though, and the bus goes from the end of our road to just outside the cinema. So with our free bus passes a cheap outing today

Oma, that dog will think he has died and gone to heaven.

GD has just Face Timed me, H was all dressed up in her Bluey outfit, they are going up to London to see a Bluey show for her Birthday which is in a few days time. Can’t believe she will be three. GS1 and his family are coming to lunch, I will pop in and see them but not stay for lunch. I am feeling a bit stronger and looking forward to resuming my usual activities next week. Lovely sunny day, it does lift the spirits.

Had a lovely catch up with friends , collected Storm , he’s had lunch now playing with his toys ,
He’s Blowing his winter coat , my god the fur is everywhere,

Just spent some time next door, GS1 and his family were visiting for lunch. His wife is expecting there third child, a little boy at the end of March. My 4th Gt Grandchild, 2n Gt Grandson

Oma, I think it was good for me to go next door and mix with the family. I don’t envy you the hair Storm is loosing.

It's been a nice sunny day here but really cold.

DS and DIL left for London after lunch. They have got an AirBnB flat for a few days - DS goes into hospital tomorrow morning. They have to do an MRI scan first before he goes into theatre. I don't expect to hear anything before tea time though.

I took Bailey for a walk this afternoon, intending to go to the local park, but then realised Scully the cat was coming with us so changed direction away from the road and went to the woods instead. I found out that Scully responds to her name if you call her in a high squeaky voice!

DS2 and I spent the rest of the afternoon messing about on the piano - it was lovely to spend some time with him and we had a good laugh. We also cooked dinner together which was fun and chatted and put the world to rights.

Plant I do hope you get back to your usual busy social life next week.

It will be another busy day here. Busier for hubby than me, but the job is coming along.

Unusual for you to not know whats for dinner Nan2! It's OH's turn to cook today so I don't know either.

Daisy, all good wishes to your DS today. Your high voice for the cat made me laugh. In Florida the GC found it so funny that if she was separated from us in the crowd the only way I could make OH hear was to call her name in a high lilting voice!

Plant it will have done you good to spend time with family yesterday. Congratulations on another GGC on the way

How long is Storm staying at Oma Hotel?!

We enjoyed Wonka very much yesterday. We then went to eat a couple of doors down from the cinema, which was good also! Waiting for the bus in the cold wasn't such fun, we were glad to get home into the warm

It's not raining today, but the golf course is still closed. They won't inspect again until Wednesday morning.
Reflexology for me this morning. I am going over to look after baby GS for an hour or so after that. DD3 has been having back problems so is going to the sports massage therapist I go to (who works just 10 minutes down the road from DD) I will stay with GS while she has the treatment. I have nothing else on today so will stay and chat to DD for a bit when she gets back.

I am hoping I will find enough energy to go to the local hospital to pick up some tablets I was short of the last time I collected them. Just realised I am out to lunch tomorrow with my Guiding friends. No sunshine today, not sure what the forecast is.

Oma, when are your family expected back?

Gemini, Poor S, not much golf so far this winter, perhaps we shall have some drier weather now. I hope the sports therapist will be able to help your DD3.

Poor S the courses around here are closed due to flooding too .

Storm goes home in the morning ,
At the moment he is out with the Dog walker , DD arranged for her to take him this morning , it gives me a break from walking him and gets him a good run .

DD text this morning they going to the Salt mines it’s -14 there , they fly home tonight ,.

Been to see to the cats and I’ve got a light wash on but apart from that not much to do .
