        Good morning.

        It's not raining.

Oma, we have a lot of leaves to clear up as well.

This morning I'm going to clean the leather suite with Lord Sheraton and polish and hoover the rest of the room. Also want to get the kitchen floor washed.

Daisy, the new security light works fine, thanks.

Hubby mentioned we haven't had a pizza for a couple weeks, so guess what's for dinner.

          Good morning everyone.

You will be a domestic goddess this morning Nan2.

Daisy and Lizzie, I treated myself to a very good reversible raincoat this year. I don't walk dogs or ride bikes, but I have never had an actual raincoat and wanted one

          Beautiful photo Daisy.

Oma, I never imagined all your napkins were white!

Plant, you need a volunteer to bring the shopping from the car

A lovely sunny morning here , we have towels on the line.
OH is setting off for golf. The course has been closed a lot recently due to waterlogging so she is anxious to get back out there!
GS1 from school, then I will drop him at his youth club after tea. I presume DD will collect him from there as usual but I must check as I think she was going to be in London today.
This is the easy school run as it's only 3 miles, and I stay in the car!

Good Tuesday morning, everyone. The sun's shining, and there aren't so many puddles in the road this morning.

I don't mind the leaves - they either get swept on to the borders to rot down over the winter or put them in the compost bin. But, I agree, you clear them up, and the next day they need doing again. We don't have a lot of trees that drop leaves in our garden though, and perhaps if we had more I'd be less happy to deal with them.

Nanto, your leather suite will look beautiful, I'm sure. You're going to be a busy bee. What did we ever do without security lights! I suppose we didn't feel we needed them years ago. Enjoy your pizza. Do you and your OH like the same toppings?

Oma, I hope the 700 napkins last until January, at least! Everything seems to be working out well for your GS, thank goodness. It's a big step going off to uni.

Gem, did you sleep better last night?

Glamm, I hope you're feeling a bit better this morning, and your appetite is coming back.

Plant, how was the theatre trip?

More gardening for me this morning, and hopefully, OH will be around to help lift the heavy pots. My DIL1 has some pot metal pot stands on wheels for her heavy pots. They are quite decorative, and I'd love some. I've never seen them in the shops and she can't remember where she got them. They'd make it so much easier to move them round.

Hope S manages a game today our local golf courses are partially closed due to flooding .
Is GS still enjoying the club ?

Always white Gem DD said I’m afraid of colour 🥴🤣🤣🤣

                Daisy
Have you looked on Amazon for the plant trolleys
Next door have one for her huge Cordyline it’s green wrought iron with black wheels it’s nicer than the half dead plant she has on it 😁

GS rang last night wanted to know how long to cook Broccoli for he was doing something for them all and wasn’t sure how he would know it was done ,
I told him and he text later to say it was perfect just like Grandad makes it 😁

Oma, our posts crossed. Glad the Battle of the Leaves has started! I had to smile at the vision of you as a Yeti - my first thought was of my car which is a Yeti!!! Then I realised what you meant.

Gem, I see we all posted at much the same time.

Your OH will be delighted to get out on to the golf course. It must be a nightmare keeping the greens in good condition with all this rain. Unfortunately, it seems raincoats are essential with all this wet weather. Does it work better on one side than the other - I'm never sure about reversible things. I hope your towels dry ok in the sunshine.

Good morning, it is sunny here with now and again a few drops of rain, like you Oma, having my hair cut at 12-30am.

Gem, when I used to meet the girls out of school I treated myself to a Tenson rain parka, I still have it and wear it as well, I can't hold an umbrella up for any length of time so a good raincoat is the answer.

Oma, I often go to the Lidl and come out with my quarks!

Daisy, the photo is lovely, the trees are beautiful at this time of the year.

Nanto, reading your post, cleaning the suite with Lord Sheraton!!!! You must be well up with the elite to have a Lord helping you!!!!

Expecting Amy my cleaning lady soon and I haven’t showered yet. I wish she could come a bit later, I don’t do early mornings well. Thinking of going to garden centre later to pick up some spring plants and bulbs for my pots. Sun out atm.

Nanto, in car parks in Normandy they have pizza making machines. You tap in what you want and in about ten minutes it delivers a large pizza. They are not as nice as the supermarket ones and are expensive. Enjoy yours.

Didn’t get to post this, Amy has just finished, I have a nice clean home. Bed changed, bathrooms cleaned, SR carpet cleaned, kitchen floor washed and a nice chat.

Daisy, lovely picture of the beautiful trees. It is tomorrow I am going to see Annie.

Gem, you seem a lot brighter today, how is the pain now. I hope OH manages to get a game of golf, she must be frustrated. I am sure my Sil would help with bringing my shopping into the kitchen. I did just bring in the fridge and freezer stuff first and left the rest till after lunch.

Oma, well done GS for getting the cooking of broccoli perfect. I love it but it does need to be cooked right.

Glamm, I hope you a getting stronger by the day but don’t rush things.

Lizzie, your family seem to hop over to England with ease, where do they sail from?

Daisy. I had an awake period in the early hours when I eventually gave in and took a codeine and 2 paracetamol (after reading for some time) and put the bedroom TV on. I re-watched some bits of that evenings soaps which I had missed . This proved I had slept quite bit downstairs earlier!

Plant I'm doing OK mostly. I am finding the support of the FB knee replacement recovery group invaluable. I don't know what I would do without them atm!

Lord Sheraton did a good job on the suite.
Oma, yes its a shame we have to sit on it when its been cleaned.
Mind you, i think that about everything in the house when its just been cleaned.

Highlight of my day was when Amazon arrived to deliver the perfume to put with GD2 birthday presents.
                              Sad, i know.

Just popped in to say 'good night'. I'll catch up in the morning.

                                It's been a busy day.
