Going into town today, we need to get some euros. Don't need much shopping, but there are a couple of shops where I want to have a good browse.
We will eat out.

Off now to tidy the outside freezer, because it's niggling me.

DD2 is coming today.GS2 as well I'm sure but I don't know about SIL or GD. Hard to believe our baby girl will be 14 tomorrow!

Good Morning to everyone,
I've been up and about early today my Oliver came and gave me a nudge at about 5.30am so no chance of staying asleep for me,so now the floors are all done and the washer is on as I have changed the bedding on my bed fortunatley the weather is not bad at all (fingers crossed)

Poor DD has sprained her ankle last night when walking back from viewing the ruins at Side luckily it is not too bad lots of ice dispensed at a local bar to help the swelling she rang me this am to tell me it was not too painful G went off to the pharmacy to get a ankle support and ibrufen cream she is spending the day in a cabinea they have rented with her foot supported poor girl it could only happen to her at the time she was carrying a porcelain cat a double of Oliver and he unfortunatley ended up in bits such a shame.

Yes ladies DS1 has met a nice young lady he has known her for a while she works at the same place as he does and got chatting to her 3 mths ago on a night out with fellow employees she likes the outdoor life as he does they have been hill walking etc together they have also been to a couple of concerts and outdoor festivals they are going to Devon for 5 days next week and then in January to a place in Scotland to a log cabin they are taking things slowly I haven't met her as yet but looking at her pics she seems a nice girl.

The garden is looking very good at the minute I've brushed all the leaves up and put them into the garden waste bin ready for collection on Monday those dam squirrels are still digging up my bedding plants I think they are burying food in the pots .
We have had a couple of big seaguls making a nest of sorts in the big tree at the front of the house so I have have had to move my car over the road away from the tree as the bird mess was landing on my little car.

Off to Aldi shortly to stock up on some sauces why do they always run out together I've run out of mint & horseradish & English mustard I must have sauces on my sandwiches.

Oma I am seriously thinking of getting rid of my all glass coffee table I am spending every day cleaning it from paw marks and dust from His Majesty as soon as it is cleaned he runs in and positions him self on it I just don't know what type to get in its place and it looks so good in the room.

Must get moving on to do some little jobs then off to the shops bye for now xx Glamma

It's a beautiful day here - warm and sunny, more like Spring than autumn. Long may it last.

I'm still reading posts, but I find I haven't got much time to myself to chat. We're just waiting for the dog food delivery then we'll go out somewhere and enjoy the weather.

When I first changed my glass tables to wood I wasn’t sure I would like the change as I liked the lightness of glass ,
But to be honest I love the wood and so much easier to keep clean .
Poor DD when she’s on holiday too but I bet it doesn’t stop her enjoying herself 😀

We hope the garage will ring GS on Monday , they are providing a loan car till his is fixed .
If they haven’t rang by Monday B is going down to give the car a once over to see if it’s ok to drive in the meantime.

We are trying to run our freezers down to give them a good clean too.

Busy morning ,
Stripped bed got that in the wash then a white load went in,
Nipped to the range for some faux flowers for my dinning room sideboard ,
Fresh flowers are expensive at the moment and not lasting long .
So I thought over the winter a vase full of faux flowers would be nice .

Just got back when DD arrived with Storm , they stayed for lunch and have just gone .
Its coming over very dark I think we are in for a burst of rain.

I knocked a stag that GS had bought me off the hall way shoe cabinet this morning and it’s unrepairable ,
I was so upset .if I had bought it I would have thought nothing of it but because he bought it I was guttered ,
Its tail two legs and one of its antlers came off ,
Cant even glue it back together as little fragments came off .
Cursing my clumsiness now 😞

Ware having the most glorious Autumn day, my favourite. I have spent some time pulling out the odd weed and had my lunch out in the garden. Alls quiet next door although DD and Sil have all three GC there, two are staying the night. H loves it when her cousins are here.

Glamm, so sorry to hear about your DD’s accident, I hope it heals soon so she can put some weight on it.

My gardeners friend has chopped loads of shrubs back but the bins are full so it is piled up waiting for some space. I need to visit a garden centre to replace plants that had died.

Speaking of glass coffee tables,we got rid of ours,and changed to wooden ones.
In the conservatory we have a black glass tv stand,and that is going. Its the bane of my life.
We will look for a wooden one.

Plant, the new gate isnt quite finished yet.
He's hoping to get it finished today, but he's looking at someone's Dyson today. He got a part for the Dyson off ebay, which came yesterday.

It turned out quite warm yesterday, hope it does the same today.

Dinner today is chicken in breadcrumbs, potato and swede mash with veg and gravy.

Nan2, my OH is the person a lot of friends ask to help with things, like yours is

Over to DD2's for lunch today. I haven't been anywhere except the library and hospital since my op, so it will be nice to go somewhere else!
OH wants to look in a sports shop on the way, for golf shoes. I want her to go to Boots for some bio oil for me as well. I will wait in the car.

Hoping for a mild dry day for us all.

Afternoon ladies.
I don’t know where the day has gone
Seems like in between house work, making beds, washing then ironing and going toMorrisons the day has slipped by.

The Morrisons we go to for a small shop has a underground car park and there was a homeless man sitting by the door ,
A lady came out with a hot cooked chicken with hot roast potatoes for him and a cake plus bottled water .

We we’re talking to a man going in and he said this lady does this every week ,
The man moves from area to area but comes every Sunday for his chicken ,
How kind of this lady , The man said he never begs for money and always happy with food ,
He had contacted one of the homeless charities and was hoping they would come out to see this gentleman to see if they could help him .
I hope they can with winter around the corner ,
At least he didn’t want money for drugs like the young man outside M&S a few weeks ago who was refusing food and asking for Money for dope.

Its very damp today the sort of day that’s grey and miserable.

Oma, sometimes the day has gone in a flash.

I've ordered 2 more tops from Temu. I haven't used my card,paid by paypal.
One of them is plain black. Been looking for one quite a while,but not seen anything i liked.
