    LOL Mimi!
As long as you know where to go back to Grauntie
I bet GDs will have a fabulous time Daisy

The cat had a 3 day antibiotic injection today. She has continued to eat well and her face is almost back to normal. Our lovely vet charged me £6 only!! It's rare to get out of the vets with a less than £40 bill. He obviously felt sorry for us with the whopping bill at the emergency vets last night. Nice man

We had a good day with the GC. Morning here, lunch out, then the farm. They fed and petted animals and went on play equipment and bouncy castle. GS played in the big sandpit and playhouse a lot. GD practiced her gymnastics and went on the zipwire. A good day.
I must go and cook now (quick pasta dish) then feet up, happier now kitty is better!

If you look at Nan2’s post she has already brought 3 Christmas presents !
Mimi - I did notice, and if I remember correctly Nanto is the super efficient lady who writes her festive cards in October, so I think she's a special case.

Grauntie - you're a girl after my own heart. The confusion is easy, both beginning with S. Errrrr, are you sure you're not in Surrey??

Gem - the GDs are having a wonderful time. They went out for dinner tonight and had a lovely view of Windsor Castle from the restaurant. They'll spend all day tomorrow at the Legoland Park and stay in the themed hotel tomorrow (it was too expensive for two nights there!), have Wednesday morning back in the park and then home in the afternoon. Mum is very organised - all their school things are neatly laid out in the playroom ready for Thursday morning. I just hope the girls aren't too tired, or wired.

It sounds as though you all had a good day, too, Gem. That's such good news about kitty - and how kind of your vet to not charge you a consultation fee. Our vet often used to do that when Clyde needed a diabetes check. I know a lot of people say vets overcharge, but we wouldn't think that if we didn't have the NHS and were used to having to pay to visit the doctor.

Good to read that you're all ok. I'm in Scotland for the week. Came up on Saturday & leave this gorgeous cottage on Thursday to go to a hotel in Edinburgh. Friday night is rugger then back home on Saturday. Grateful for small mercies but I wish we were away for two weeks.

          Love the wellie story Plant.

Good morning Nan2 and everyone else.
Have a good Scottish break Nana!

Schools go back here today, so I will collect GS1 this afternoon. Some of that housework stuff to be done this morning. It's a dull grey day here right now.
OH is in an away golf competition all day, with meal afterwards so its meal for one here tonight.

                Have a good day

Good morning Nanto, Gem and all those who are having a lie-in!

We've got a bit of sunshine this morning, and it's not cold - one of those surprising mornings when it's as warm out as in.

Gem - don't overdo that housework stuff - it's not good for you. I hope OH does well in her golf comp - is she back on form now after having physio?

Nana - have a lovely time in Scotland. Lots of good Scottish fresh air and all those beefy rugby players - what more could a girl want!

Nanto - Do you always get your shopping online? My DIL1 does and thinks it's really useful, but I only do the very occasional one.

We've got a man coming round this morning to look at our windows! Hopefully he won't notice that the insides could do with a clean, but they're about 12 or 13 years old and some of them are getting very difficult to open. I didn't know windows needed servicing!!!

                    Morning ladies.

Daisy I bet the girls and their parents have a fantastic day.

Nana continue to enjoy your Scottish trip.A week does seem to go too quickly when you’re enjoying yourself.

Gem I hope kitty is continuing to get better.

GD is going back to school this afternoon to start her final A - level year and GS goes back tomorrow to start his first GCSE year.

I’m working this morning then Tesco delivery this afternoon then Dr’s appointment.

Hope your day is a good one.

Enjoy your break in Scotland Nana and the beefy rugby players. Can't remember who is playing atm.

Daisy, I could do with my double glazed windows updating, I have a couple of them have blown and locks a bit stiff for me.

Good luck to your OH playing in the golf competition, pleased she is back to full strength. Enjoy your meal for one. Omlette for me tonight, I need to use eggs up before I go away.

My plan is to clean the bathrooms and wash the kitchen floor this morning, well that's my plan. then I will reward myself by going shopping for a new pair of comfy shoes to wear on holiday.

Hope your Dr's appointment goes well Clover.

                        Morning ladies ,

Plant my DD noticed two of her windows in the conservatory have blown too better noticing now than the winter ,

Daisy more expense , how is the sorting out going ?
Bet the girls are having a great time at Leggo land to be honest I would like to see it too

Clover a busy year for them both , im sure they will do very well , hope they don't have any stress over them xx

Gem you will have the telly all to yourself tonight then

Nanto that's a lovely cheery graphic makes you smile

Been to Metro centre this morning , I had a Gift card that still had a fair bit of money on it ,

I bought a lovely Satin dressing gown in Debenhams , then went into The Body Shop and bought some Japanese Camellia moisture body cream .

My niece is a agent for them and gave me a little sample pot of it , its lovely so I thought I may as well use the rest of my card to buy some

Had enough on my Card to get a little 50ml pot but it was buy one get one half price so I bought the two and in fact I had more left on my card than I thought so I only had £1.50 to put to it

We then went into Next as B wanted a new wallet , coming out the security alarms went off , a young man who had served me said it must have a security tag in but couldn't find it , he tried about 3 times it still was going off so he held it over the tag release thing and that seemed to work ,
When we got home we found a little sort of credit card info thing in and on the back was a black strip it must have been that .

Off to Aldi after we have finished our cupper .

Been a lovely morning weatherwise and quite productive.
Shopping arrived just after 8,nice and early.
Managed to get all housework done while hubby was out.
When he came home we sat outside with coffee, and i suddenly decided i would cut the grass.
Had a bit of a break when neighbour came for a chat.
Just had a lovey refreshing shower,me not the weather.
After we've eaten going to do the ironing.

Daisy,i don't shop online every week, only when i need to have a good stock up.
                          Plus,Morrisons were offering free delivery.
I ordered some strawberry cream tarts, and the packer put them in the bottom of the bag,and piled things on top.
Got a bit squashed. We have taken a photo and i'm going to email them later.
Just glad i didn't need them for any visitors.

                            Nan2 you are energetic today
Oma I think OH may be back tonight before I get in from DD's, or at least not much later, so no telly to myself! They tend to eat quite early once everyone has played and I wont be home until after 7.
My mum had a sore throat this morning so I drove over to drop off paracetamol and throat sweets to suck. She has just phoned to say she is feeling much better and is up and dressed, so that's good.

Nice day today, a bit cloudy but very pleasant. We went to our local Cancer support group coffee morning, a nice social event, lots of lovely cakes too. The only thing we didn’t like was the chap sitting opposite us who seemed to think there was a competition as to who had the worst cancer! 😲. Of course, his was the worst...the longest operation, all the gory details, the rarest cancer, etc etc. We didn’t say anything, but really P has been through far worse than he was going on about. A real attention seeker, but luckily everyone else was very nice and chatty which made up for it. We really just wanted to be sociable and away from all the cancer talk. We will go to the next one in a couple of weeks as they have a man talking about bees which sounds very interesting.

I was going to cut the grass this afternoon but I feel quite shattered, so instead I will do my shopping lists for tomorrow and get on with my knitting.

People like that are strange Enfys. Most of us, sufferers and OHs, don't want to dwell on that sort of things but on other stuff. It sounds as though the group generally is lovely
                                Happy knitting afternoon
