We were going to friends for lunch but they have had to cancel as they both are unwell. We will have to make do with shepherds pie.
I’m barking like a dog today and keeping my fingers crossed it doesn’t mean the start of a chest infection 😬.

Brum ladies I’m so glad you had a lovely weekend as usual. Wish I could have been there.Please put photos on here as I can’t get into GRUS on F B since I was hacked and SIL reset everything. I must see if he can find it for me next time I see him. Safe journeys home.

It’s been pouring with rain but I think we are having a short lull so are dashing out for our walk.Probably get wet though.

It’s a beautiful morning here, but no idea how long it will last. OH off to play golf, I’ll carry on tidying in the garden. School pick up this afternoon, I will miss GS1 when it’s no longer necessary, we are the backing group for any song that needs one when in the car. We do a mean ‘doowap’.

Grauntie, we like a sing in the car too. When GD was younger we sang along to a lot of Disney sings. She's almost 10, so too cool for that now, of course!

GS1 from school today. It is his swimming lesson tonight, so I must wear layers to combat the heat in there!
Little cat not eating much again, but wanting food, so I'm wondering if it's another tooth abscess brewing. I will try to get a vets appointment today or tomorrow.
Now the local hot air balloon fiesta is over we wake to a calm and sunny day. Once again the balloons didn't go up all all over the weekend, too wet and or windy, as last year.
I hope all travellers had a good nights sleep. Oma, how is your cold? I hope the scans go smoothly today.

Sun is out and I feel like Poo

I just want to crawl into bed and stay there but I have these two scans that will take From 11am till at least 2.30 so hanging around a hot hospital isn't what I want but if I cancel I might not get another appointment before I see consultant again so will just have to be a brave soldier ,
Popping headache tablets like sweeties , sneezing coughing and runny nose just what I need

At least I had a good weekend and came back to Fresh baked Bread Goulash in the slow cooker and Sticky toffee pud with toffee sauce and ice cream for afters I managed to eat it all no matter how ill I felt

Decorator arrived and starting the paintwork, he will be finished in a couple of days. I will get the carpet fitted probably Mon or Tues. and then the furniture moved back in. The novelty of sleeping in the bedroom is wearing off.

Sorry to hear you are feeling so poorly Oma, at least it waited until you were going home and were able to enjoy the weekend. What a banquet to come home to.

I only sing in the car when I am on my own Grauntie, voice isn't what it was.

What a shame the balloon festival was a wash out again Gemini. I hope kitty feels able to eat soon, hope the vet can help.
