I did a few outside jobs at in laws,until it got too warm.

Hubby had quite a few messages for his birthday while i was out.
GD1 phoned to wish him happy birthday and to say she can't come until tomorrow.

Not sure if you have had a bone density scan before, but there is nothing to it (except I put my gown on the wrong way!! Luckily I saw another lady come back to cubicles in hers and quickly changed mine )

Afternoon ladies I have little T today poorly girl. Apart from that the usual chores, plus moved some pots to the front garden,hung up some new bird feeders,more dead heading 😥. B went off to Morrisons for a few bits and pieces, we have a fair bit of cloud come over and it is slightly cooler. Oh and I hoovered the fake grass, I am blaming Oma for that. Always just swept but decided to use the old Henry and give it a go. Neighbours must think I'm a nutter 🤣🤣.

Oma hope the scan goes well, remember to put the gown on the correct way or you will be giving someone a heart attack .
Wondering how Qwerty got on at the Doctors hope all is well. Time to get lunch will catch up later.

Oma - I had to go and have a lie down after reading what you've done today! But I bet everywhere looks brand new. I do hope the knot sealant works.

By the way - I have to ask - which way is the 'right' way for the hospital gown - it always seems that whichever way there's potential for acute embarrassment.

We had a lovely day out, meeting up with a group of ex-colleagues of OH's. I was very naughty and had scampi and chips for lunch. It's a nice hotel but sometimes the food isn't great, but today mine was good. Unfortunately not calorie-free!!!

Tomorrow the fun continues with lunch at a local golf club with a group of friends from College. At least while I'm out I can ignore the growing ironing pile!!

Daisy I didn't have to wear a gown , I had a thin summer dress on and a sports Bra so no need to take anything off I just lay on the bed as I was

Bought a new Summer Duvet and some new cotton pillowcases yesterday from Dunelm , its on way to Hospital so called in as we were passing ,
I want to cover a long footstool we have at the bottom of the bed , seen some Fabric in Dunelm but today we popping to a out of town place we know of that sells lots of fabric have a look in there first ,

Its a lovely sunny day although we had heavy rain last night , at least it watered the plants but did little for my newly washed windows

Just been out to spray chewing Gum on my drive with WD40 damn Post man if hes not throwing cigarette buts down or Elastic bands its chewing gum ,
I caught him yesterday and I told him off , said if it happens again ill report him to his boss , Dirty habit left for others to see too there is no excuse

Morning all I have T again sickness stopped but now has had diarrhoea 😟 strictly bland diet for madam. That put paid to me visiting Tammie today so hubs will go alone. We have had heavy rain,much needed, definitely cooler today.
Oma good for you telling off the postie,disgusting habit. Hope you find a material you like. I'm obviously not up to much with having my little patient. T doesn't finish school until next Tuesday M finishes this Friday. Time to get myself moving and have my shower,have a good day all.

Thursday , so its mum's shopping and visiting her this afternoon.
OH is going ahead of me to tackle mum's back garden a bit. I keep the front one tidy (with the invaluable help of the next door neighbour who cuts the lawns and mum's side of the connecting hedge)
I spent some time in her back garden a week or so ago and filled the green bin, so it's a bit better than it was, but not good. OH being out of action so long and me having so many more things calling on my time has meant mum's back garden has been neglected.

I know you are a Domestic Goddess but I personally would never go for cotton bedding because I know though it feels lovely I can’t bear to think it has to be ironed

Libra I hope T feels better today. I don’t expect she wants to miss the last few days of term though as some schools relax a bit in the last few days and have a bit of fun.

We actually had rain in the night but dry this morning. Hope it stays that way as I’m off to the hairdressers this afternoon

At the moment I’m waiting for a delivery due between 9 and 10 .I daren’t venture far from the front window as until I get my doorbell situation sorted out I might not hear a knock at the door.

Good morning ladies. I'm a proper lazy granny this morning. I woke up at 9.20, and literally I'd just sat up when the phone rang!

We've had a drop of rain overnight - not much, but it does freshen the garden up a bit. I'm so glad I did a thorough watering last night!!!!!! I am joking, but I have an odd theory that plants know when rain is coming and 'get ready' for it, so doing a good watering just beforehand helps it to be more effective. I think I'd better go and lie down in a darkened room and unscramble my brain!

Oma - your postman is a disgrace - it's bad enough dropping that horrible stuff anywhere, but to dump it on your drive is disgusting.

Clover - I agree about cotton bedding and ironing! I've got one set and it looks and feels lovely but is such hard work to iron. Enjoy your trip to the hairdressers. I hope your delivery has arrived safely.

Gem - I hope your mum is ok today. You and OH are very kind maintaining her garden, and I can imagine while S was out of action it must have been hard for you to do even the minimum.

Libra, poor little T, she must be feeling very fed up, and it sounds like a horrid bug, poor lass. Hopefully she'll be ok to go back to school for the last two days.

Nanto - have a nice time with your GDs and GD1's boyfriend. I'm sure it will seem like OH's birthday all over again.

I'm picking a friend up about 11.45 on my way to meet 'the girls' for lunch. I'm looking forward to seeing everybody as we had to cancel last month's and I couldn't go the month before that. My whirlwind social life! It all seems to happen at once and then I don't go anywhere for ages. But I must try and get a few jobs done before then. Oversleeping hasn't helped.

Well we back without the fabric , will have to go back to Dunelm , I didn't see anything i liked better than the one in Dunelm , should have bought it yesterday , will leave it till next week now unless I can get there on Saturday morning

Daisy you must have needed the lie in , it wont do you any harm to have a lazy lie in once in a while

Clover its just the pillow cases that are pure Cotton , my bedding is a mix Cotton/ Polyester but I still iron everything anyway

Gem its hard work doing the garden alone , I hope S doesn't overdo it too her wrist is still healing after all . is she still doing the physio they gave her ?
