Plant, hope the cream gives you some relief.

Clover, you sound a lot brighter, now you are with family.
Will have to have a word with nephew about popping down to Wales.
He's coming back tomorrow to finish a few little bits.
His wife got held up at work,so he had to go pick their daughter up at school.

I'll tell you what, its not at all warm here.
Going to warm up from tomorrow hopefully.

Enfys, enjoy your break both of you.

I'm so glad you went Plant. I have been thinking of you today and wishing you didn't have to wait until Friday. You can't be too careful with eyes. I'm glad you have been seen and hope it improves soon.
Have a lovely break Enfys and OH.

        Evening All.
Had a busy few weeks here, but have popped in from time to time. Glad you are all tickety boo (with the exception of Plant’s eye, hope it has started to feel better Plant). Good news about Qwerty’s latest purchase, looking forward to hearing about it. I hope all holiday makers are having an enjoyable time and those to come too. Nothing planned here until September now.
I am heartily fed up with the weather. No sun yet. It is promised but we sit and wait. I am waiting for the delivery of a new garden swing chair. Hopefully tomorrow or Friday and THEN I’ll need some sun.

Please could you ask the world to slow down for a day or two so I can catch up! It was lovely to see our visitors this morning, and we sat on dining room chairs having a coffee and a chat.

The furniture arrived just after 1 o'clock, all wrapped up in nice jackets that we can keep to cover it up when decorating. They obviously think we do that frequently! We're very pleased, although it did take us most of the afternoon to re-arrange the furniture generally.

Eva gave everything a good sniffing before she claimed her spot!

I'll take some proper photos tomorrow - today's been a bit hectic!

Plant - I'm glad you have got treatment for your poorly eye. I hope it's starting to feel a bit better.

Clover - your GD sounds such a talented lady - I bet you enjoyed every minute.

Enfys - it does sound like a very posh hotel, so I hope you're pampered to the max. It is nice to dress up sometimes, isn't it.

Sunshine - I haven't book3d my room yet - mainly because we didn't get back online properly till last night when I was out dog training, and today has been silly busy. I didn't even get to speak to DS1 until this evening to wish him happy birthday. I hope your DD had a lovely day too.

Grauntie - I think the weather has been getting us all down a bit, although today has been lovely here.

Qwerty - I haven't had chance to say how exciting about your news! I look forward to hearing all about it.

Nanto - well done to your nephew, and how kind of him to say he doesn't want paying, and also kind of you to insist.

Grauntie - that's Eva's "you're not going to stop me enjoying my comfy corner, are you!" look.

Oma - yes, Ducky is still going strong!

No sun here yet.In fact quite chilly outside.

                  Daisy,loving the pictures of Eva.

Grauntie, hope you get some sunshine,so you can enjoy your garden swing when it arrives.

Not a lot happening here. Hubby will be doing the bit of gloss painting in downstairs loo and back porch.

                    Good morning. Lovely graphic Nan2.

We are up early, packed and ready for our little trip. Minimum packing, plenty of sun cream and our hats. I am putting our thin waterproofs in the boot “just in case” 🙂. P thinks I’m mad 🤪

We’re only going a little way, about 2 hours, but I feel like it’s a massive undertaking and we’re both looking forward to the break from everything that’s going on.

Hope you all have a lovely weekend, enjoy the sunshine 🌞

They pumped his stomach out and said shouldn't be any complications as she got him there almost immediately , He was sick another 3 times when they got home and they didn't get to bed till 3 so DD having day off ,

She sent a pic of him this morning looking very sorry for himself , couldn't understand why the nasty Vet put a tube down his throat bless him ,

Oma, what a good job DD was quickly on the case. That was an expensive packet of raisins I’ll bet!
Hoping for some sun today, washing machine bashing away right now.
Still sewing here, now making jewellery rolls to sell at our charity afternoon tea next month. Onward and upwards.

A quick good morning from me, as I'm off to see the nurse for my annual MOT in a few minutes. Hopefully I won't be long!

Enfys - we only went to Charmouth, but it's the break, a change of scenery and in your case, a luxury hotel. Hopefully you won't need the rain coats. Have a safe journey and a lovely time.

Clover - it will probably be too hot for dog walking later - a day to laze in the garden, hopefully.

Grauntie - you make me feel guilty - I'm neglecting my trusty washing machine.

Nanto - at least you can have all the windows open to get rid of the smell of paint.

Oma - poor Storm, and poor DD. I'm sure he'll bounce back quickly, but I can imagine the panic when DD realised what he'd done, silly doggy.

Poor Storm, are raisins toxic to animals or was it the amount he ate.

Hope everyone enjoyed the dog walk Clover, you sound much more relaxed being with the family

Those eyes Daisy would melt any ones heart, did Eva approve of the new settee

Eye still a problem, didn't go swimming this morning but I am meeting up with my swimming friends later for a birthday celebration. I have made an overnight salad. I don't know how long this scratch on my eyeball will take to heal, I suppose the antibiotic cream is in case it gets infected but not a cure. It is a job to decide in which order I use artificial tears and the antibiotic cream. So pleased I am able to sleep.
