      I had it as a child, when I didn't know what it was! I don't eat any offal now and neither did my dad. Mum has always loved brawn, cows heels, tongue, tripe, and all sorts of - to me - yukky foods

        Gem my Mam was the same i hated all that , i did see Tripe in Morrisons in the pre packed fresh meat section , B likes to buy the fat rind to make pork scratching (yuk) and it was beside that, My parents ate tripe but we wouldnt i have never tasted it its just the thought and smell , i think the only offal i eat is liver and onions done in the oven with gravy or in liver pate , although B,s German aunty does a really nice brawn i dont ask whats in it :0
