We cleared the loft out a long time before we downsized thankfully so it was less junk to deal with.
In the loft I seem to remember , along with things like family photos and Christmas decorations we had......
One broken strip light.
One broken pushchair that we had when DD was a toddler, ( she was in her early 20's when we cleared out the loft )
A turn table that wouldn't turn
Empty cardboard boxes,,,, you know,, just in case ( Fire hazard , health and safety and all that )
Now we have no loft we still manage to hoard juke the only difference being its now rammed into cupboards

Do I need to hang my head in shame, first of all are we talking about paper napkins ?
The only time I buy napkins is at Christmas time , I am with Plant in that I usually use a paper towel the rest of the year except for at the moment ..... and this is where I hang my head in shame..... I was sorting out the kitchen drawer and found several packs of unopened Christmas themed napkins so I am using them instead of kitchen rollBring me sunshine in your smile.

Mimi, Oma has a'thing' about paper napkins 😁
We have cloth ones we use if we have people round for a meal.
For every day and buffets we use kitchen roll, apart from over that festive season when I buy appropriate paper napkins.“A grandchild fills a space in your heart that you never knew was empty.” – Unknown

Festive season in your house Mimi, bit early. I have very nice damask napkins, they don't see the light of day these days. OH and I always had cloth napkins when he was alive and I have paper ones if anyone visiting has tea and cake. We know where to go if we run out. What is life if full of care we have no time to stand and stare

Kitchen rolls are the bane of my life. OH always stores them on top of a very high cupboard which I can't reach. And today, after GD2 spilled her paint water all over the table I quickly used what was left on their kitchen roll - only to find that the new ones were on top of a very tall fridge freezer, totally out of reach without harness, lanyard, belay equipment and a course in advanced rock climbing!
