What a week a long train journey and a waste of time, we looked at the original bungalow I loved, but hubs wanted to see another. Stunning I bed bungalow with everything bang up to date. Even the garden was immaculate and had a view of the rolling hills of follaton. Made an offer but we're pipped to the post, in the end we were relieved as although perfectly presented you couldn't swing a cat let alone 2 dogs. The rooms were so small. Then hubs trekked down again to view another one, I wasn't a 100% keen on as it was a doer upper and mid terrace,so that was a no really. Then we saw a another bungalow for more money, everything about it perfect, again offers made by other people within the 24 hours of it going on the market. Follaton is such a sought after area, vacant property's are as rare as hens teeth. So back to my original choice offer made and we will hear on Monday if it has been accepted. I had forgotten how stressful the whole buying houses is. So please cross your fingers for Monday, if we lose this one I don't know what are next move will be. 😕😕"What doesn't kill us,makes us stronger."

Libra, could you rent initially, then you would have more chance of finding somewhere when you are already there? That is what my DD1 and SIL did when they came back from Scotland. Libra, I feel for you. If the bungalow you’ve made an offer on is right for you you will get it. Remember all the disappointments Glamm went through when she wanted to move. It is stressful, but you will end up living where you are meant to be. Sending hugs. Xxx"Joy is what happens to us when we allow ourselves to recognise how good things really are. "

I can identify with that LG. Even though I had help with all the cleaning etc., it nearly killed me! Having said that, it was worth it in the end.
Fingers crossed for Monday . 🤞🏻Women are like tea bags; you never know how strong they are until they are put in hot water.
