Hurrah for online shopping! All 3 SILs now sorted. DD1 was online, so we were able to choose the joint present together by FB chatbox

Daisy that's a sad job to do. I hope 2016 brings new doggie joy into your life, when you are ready xxx

Gem - yes, it was sad. Removing their tags from the collars was the worst bit! I know another dog will find us at some point, and in the meantime I'm making the most of taking DS2's loveable mutt out for walks etc.

But, I've kept busy - finished the cards that need posting, caught up with washing, done ALL the IRONING apart from things that weren't dry, sorted presents into 'families' , and started to sort out recipes for Christmas Day and the 27th. I can now get at the main guest bed to change the bedding but ran out of time. Very tired now though! Oh dear, where is the energy I had 40 years ago!

I agree Gem, I'm now an on line shopper, and because of circumstances, even the grocery shopping is now delivered. I used to enjoy shopping to be honest, but you can't beat delivery to the door without having to worry about crowds, buses or parking and most of the time, you cannot even find the item you wanted in the shops! Decs up as always, being St Nicholas yesterday, they went up and stay up till the day after New Year's day. Also delivered cards to immediate neighbours, now I can relax ....
