That sounds lovely Daisy, very good for a clothes horse.

Lizzie, you've reminded me that my OH's parents had a large mahogany dining table. It was the exact size for a table tennis table and there was plenty of room round it to play. We were careful how we clamped the net to the table, but other than that it was perfect. When they retired and downsized OH's eldest sister and her OH inherited both the table and the net, and again there was plenty of room to play. It was well used at family gatherings.Originally posted by Lizzie48 View PostGem, what a shame, friends did the same years ago with a table tennis table, what a carry on they had to surprise the boys, it was never used at all.

Oma, the rocking horse isn't huge, but there's nowhere for it to go now GD2 is too heavy for it. So it sits on the landing and Eva likes to lie between that and the banisters totally blocking the way! And it needs regular dusting.
