That sounds lovely Daisy, very good for a clothes horse.

Lizzie, you've reminded me that my OH's parents had a large mahogany dining table. It was the exact size for a table tennis table and there was plenty of room round it to play. We were careful how we clamped the net to the table, but other than that it was perfect. When they retired and downsized OH's eldest sister and her OH inherited both the table and the net, and again there was plenty of room to play. It was well used at family gatherings.

I have just advertised this on my FB page as I have had success with this in the past. If no takers I will post it on local selling sites and ebay as ebay is offering free listings now.

We have done the same thing Gem,
Bought something we thought they would love never to be touched ,
Best to sell it and get a little back for it.

Daisy I remember the horse I didn’t think it took that much space up, you will miss it for a while when it’s gone 😁

Oma, the rocking horse isn't huge, but there's nowhere for it to go now GD2 is too heavy for it. So it sits on the landing and Eva likes to lie between that and the banisters totally blocking the way! And it needs regular dusting.
