    Bags

I have made a leather tote bag for one of my DIL's, it is both their birthdays next week, on the same day! This bag almost ended up in the rubbish bin as it wouldn't go how I wanted it to, but, after a break and a think I managed to finished it. I even got it lined.

Beautiful Lizzie. You're really clever. I love it. You must have a good machine to stitch leather. I really like the material too. Glad it didn't end up in the bin.

      That's lovely Lizzie. So clever๐Ÿ˜Š

When I'm home and on my laptop I will move it to to a thread of its own in Handmade by You section in Creative Grannies.

Thankyou ladies, it was from a leather skirt that a friend gave me to make something with! Waste not, want not! The lining I just happened to have in my sewing cupboard. Nana, I have a Bernina but it is the leather needles that do the work.

Bernina Woman here also Lizzie. ๐Ÿ˜ I wouldnโ€™t be giving that lovely bag away if I had made it, itโ€™s fabulous! Did you have a pattern?

Grauntie, I made one for myself last year, I recovered cushions of a leather settee, 35+ years ago, I still have a large skin in my shed so made myself a bag of it. The pattern, I wanted a simple pattern, GD1 came out of school one day with exactly the style I had in mind so I borrowed the bag and made the pattern.
