Wow. Well done Avo. Very appropriate choice of fabric for travel. Like the blue contrast too. Love it.

Very nice Avo, love the material. If the virus allows, there is a huge material market in Delft in a few weeks, I am going to keep my eyes open for material for tote bags! Also want to make patchwork cushion covers, I saw them at a very expensive store and decided I could make them myself.

Daisy, in answer to your question-no, I haven’t sewn anything interesting for a while, and the leather is still in the attic! OH had a trousers crisis. He has become a tad portly around the middle so I have been letting a never ending amount of trousers out at the waist band.
Lizzie and Avo, I loved the summer bags.
Looking forward to seeing the cushion covers Lizzie.

Grauntie - poor you! Would it have been easier to starve him for a few days? Heartless, aren't I, but if it was my OH he'd have to lose the tum or buy new trousers. I hope you can get back to something interesting soon.

Lizzie - the fabric market sounds amazing. It's the sort of place I'd love to look round, even though I don't sew.

Daisy, the fabric market is really good, even if I don't buy I will walk round, looking and feeling!!!! I expect them all to be cancelled this year though.

Lizzie - that's sad if they are cancelled, but understandable. The trouble is buying things like fabric online you can't touch them first. Not the same, is it.

I agree with you Daisy, there used to be a good stall on our market here in the village, good material, he stopped and now has a huge shop, plus on-line, but, like you, I like to see it and feel it.

That would look good in a velvet sort of fabric Lizzie.

I usually get ny fabric on eBay.
