Just to let you know Rhys is doing well, we can't stop him trying to get around. Physio's are pleased with him and he's on his way back again from Nottingham, where he went to have his dressing changed. The wound is mending nicely.
He's certainly back to his old self, he was laughing and joking this morning before they set off. Wasn't worried about the trip, hurting his back, so he must be pain free already.
His got some blue walking sticks with the tripod bottoms, if you know the sort I mean. Well he can't wait to get started with those, but he's got to wait a little bit longer for those.

He was in stitches yesterday. He'd been sat on the sofa and wanted his Dad to see something on the telly. He stood up to get him and flopped down on to the floor. I'm so glad he saw the funny side and didn't get upset.
Physio is coming thick and fast, almost every other day. Tomorrow his school TA is coming to see and have a go with him and the new exercises. This is over and above her call of duty, but she wants to be up with it all for when he's back at school. Everyone is so supportive. He's so lucky.
