We are all behind Rhys all the way GJ. A very brave boy and an inspiration.

Good News! It was Rhys' birthday yesterday They had the Super Hero School Disco as a fundraiser, and raised £650. All the kids dressed as their favorite Super Hero and had a brilliant time. Half way through Rhys' Daddy arrived , he was home early from a business trip , to surprise him.
At the end of the day they found out the MRI is booked for the 30th May.
What a lovely day they all had, everything coming good in the end.

Well I've had the company of GS Ryan , today, while Rhys has had his MRI scan.
All went well after a slight wait. Poor little chap must have been starving. Was due in at 10.30am and finally went it an hour later.
But he was in good spirits.
Now just waiting for the op on the 16th June.
                  Eek! not long now.

It's bad enough starving for a procedure as an adult, poor Rhys.
Good to know that's one more step done with. I'm sure you and Ryan enjoyed each others company today

Just one more visit to the hospital in Nottingham on Tuesday. This is to see the kidney department , for an update, then for "Bloods", then the Pre-Op. Roll on the 16th.
Hotel room booked for Mummy and Daddy.
Daddy is down for the night shift and Mummy's doing days, Rhys's choice, but works well.

Well it's all go this week. Rhys has been for his last fun day out to "Diggerland". This time Ryan was big enough to go on most things, so Mummy got to have fun and join in too. They still haven't managed to get round the whole place, but it's only an hour away so they can go back again later.
My friends Son did a sponsored "100 Mile" bike ride yesterday too. His Mum and I spent the day in the support vehicle, and had a great time catching up and laughing, but we cheered Lloyd on and helped him to keep going. He IS AWESOME. Rhys and the family were there at the start , Rhys sounded the air horn and Lloyd was on his way
We've got Ryan from Thursday morning, (but he is at pre school all day), and until Rhys gets home. The op is on Friday, 4-6 hours, I think DD said. He could be home Sunday but more likely Monday. We will be popping to see him Sunday if he's not coming home.
We've planned a few things to keep Ryan busy and hope he doesn't worry about what's happening as he knows all about it too. He's very knowing.
I'm trying not to think too much about it, as I can feel the anxiety building. Please send good vibes on Friday and prayers, like you did when he was born. I really believe they got him and us through.
                                Thank you
                                Jules xx
