Tomorrow Ben is going to GOSH. They have been suddenly called in because GOSH have decided that they need to induce an episode to see how much adrenalin Ben is independently producing. Unfortunately they have done this before and it means an overnight stay and Tuesday he will have numerous injections, blood tests and will not be allowed out of bed meaning having a catheter which he hates. They had previously said they wouldn't need to see him for ages so everyone is a bit worried about why there has been this sudden calling in.
During the episodes he stops breathing completely and of course it is horrible for him but at least it will be in a controlled environment. Poor little boy, now he is older he remembers more and son says he is a bit upset and sleeping with mummy for comfort, son is sleeping in spare room.
We will face time him tomorrow at the hospital, he has to stay in overnight as they will get there at 3pm and then his medicines will stop until they have finished the tests on Tuesday so there is a possibility of a spontaneous episode. Again, at least he will be in a hospital and there will be no messing around waiting for paramedics. Still a worrying time though.
