Gem - wonderful! And the excitement is mounting, I'm sure.

Don't forget if you need anyone to carry your suitcase, I'm your woman! I love All the theme parks, but I think Universal has most of my most favourite things. We've never actually stayed in one of the parks though - we always book a hotel down near SeaWorld and then just get day passes, but we also go to Busch Gardens, and spend a few days on the Gulf coast. It would be fantastic to take the grandchildren, but by the time GD2 is old enough, the boys will be too old to want to come with us, and probably we'll be too old for the fast roller coasters!

Daisy, we have a 3 bedroom, 2 bathroom villa, just for us two! Book your flight, and you can have your own room and bathroom

Sounds wonderful Gem.I'm really envious. I've never been to Disney or the States and probably won't now.
I've never been a fan of roller coasters but I'd love the gentler rides.

How exciting. You'll both benefit from getting away from everything. So much to look forward to.

                  Clover - never say never.

When we were in Seattle last year I would have liked to fly down to California for a week and get a Disney fix at Anaheim, but we didn't feel we could be away for 3 weeks at a time. That was the first Disney park we ever went to when our DSs were in their mid-teens and I know it's changed a lot since then, but it would be fun to revisit. That was where we learned our lesson about using huge carparks. We didn't realise how big it was and when we came out we had no idea where our hire car was, and counldn't remember the number plate! It took us ages to find it - all we knew was it was near a lamp post!!!

I suspect there might have been more than one lamppost Daisy.

I think we have all done that at least once in Disney or Universal car parks Daisy

A while ago I ordered a length of red ribbon, with Mickeys head and 'H****** H***** Holiday written all along it. It is to go on suitcases. I ordered a lot, so can cut some off and make a big bow for the car aeriel

                                17 days

OH will get the suitcases down from the loft tomorrow.
I have booked all our Disney fastpasses online, OH has booked the car hire (her only job, apart from getting the cases down!) I just need to sort out the family, so that my mum has a visitor at least once a week when I am away and a couple of phone calls too maybe.
