    So excited!

We have just booked a 2 week holiday in Florida for next March!
Last time OH and I went GD was a baby a few months old, so it will be 7 years by the time we go.

We have wanted to go again for a couple of years or so, but were waiting until GD was old enough (according to her parents) to go. Now as you know we have a new GS, her baby brother. I love him to bits and am so happy we have him. I have to confess however that after my initial happiness on hearing he was on the way, my next thought was. 'Oh dear, we won't be going to Florida when T is 7 then!'
We would happily take GD with us, and she would happily come. I know her mum and dad want to share the experience with her though, and I fully understand this.

So, we have decided to go alone this time. As we won't have to stick to school holidays, we are going in March.
We will go again when the family go, whenever that may be. DD1 and GS1 and DD3 and her OH want to come too, so there will be 7 adults and 3 children that time.

    We are very excited

Clover and Plant, that's what I said. OH doesn't really mind winter, but I hate it, so thinking about a March holiday will help it pass!

My eldest grandson married a lovely American girl in May. He now lives permanently in the States and they live just 20 mins away from Disney world. From their house you can see the towers from Disney. Unfortunately I could not travel to US for his wedding, but he has sent me a beautiful tape of the wedding. They got married up in the mountains in a forest, and her brother married them. And by the look on his face when he sends pics over, he looks so happy , the smile and his eyes shine, it makes me so happy knowing he has found the life and his beautiful wife, that he has wanted for such a long time.
Gem, I'm sure you will have a brilliant time, and you will be able to do just what you want to do. What a lovely holiday to have ,to look forward to.

Gem, enjoy the anticipation of a great holiday to come. I've never been but maybe one day. 😃

                        You should GM
How lovely for your GS Mamma Mia!

Today I booked our park tickets.
Yesterday the 2017 Unofficial Guide arrived from Amazon. I have used these guides in the past and they are very useful. That and the DIBB forums (Disney and Universal for Brits) help me with my planning.

For any of you who have been in the past, the whole Disney FastPass system has changed and it doesn't sound popular! You now have to register your Disney tickets online and book your FPs online a month ahead. This of course means you are committed to visiting certain parks on certain days, or lose your FP!
You need an A level in Disney planning just to work your pastpasses these days it seems.
                        Luckily I have one
