Ha ha Plant I think we all know the answer to that one don't we??

So. We got home yesterday early afternoon. Staff tickets (business) to Antigua. Then we had to get off as he had asked for the jump seats. You have to get off, collect your luggage, go through customs, re check in, re board. Luckily the plane was relatively small which means there are three seats set aside for crew to rest so we got those but that meant that at one in the morning we had to move to allow the crew to rest and sits. The jumps which aren't that comfortable but I had stuff on my iplayer which kept me occupied until 6am when we got the seats back. Got home and fell asleep for a couple of hours. Woke up to find that husband had "helpfully" put the washing on. I told himoff - he has no concept of separating washing. and he assured me it was only dark things. Well actually it wasn't. Less said the better to be honest.

So that's another holiday over, quickly made the birthday cake this morning, will try to post it elsewhere........

So pleased you are back safely Zizi, what did you do when you had to give your seats up for the staff? My DIL went all the way to Australia on a jump seat.

Welcome back, Zizi - so glad you made it in the end. Thank goodness you didn't need oxygen this time.

I hope nothing precious got ruined in the 'dark' wash!!! Look forward to seeing the birthday cake.

Plant - your DIL must have been pretty tired travelling all that way on a jump seat.

Plant they are not that comfortable but we are not that bothered and, let's be honest, a lot better than the plan originally available as in Port of Spain, Miami, New York and only just getting back about now..... I don't think I could cope all the way to Oz in a proper jump seat as they have now. They used to be in the cockpit and were apparently quite nice.

Daisy, he put a couple of hand wash things in. I have a system, I know that what is in he blue bag is hand wash only when I can be bothered to do it. So far they are looking OK. The colour on one item is dull. I am concerned about using colour run remover as it has pearly decoration on and as the stuff completely changed the colour of my pretty pink towels goodness knows what it will do with bejewelled top! It is fine. I will live with it but I did give him a telling off so hopefully he will just keep his hands off in future!

My Dil can sleep anywhere, she has a very sick good friend there and was desperate to see her.
