I hope your GD feels better soon, Plant. She should once the antibiotics kick in. Throats infections are no fun!

Hope your GD feels better soon Plant and that you enjoyed your lonely meal! No young men to keep you company there?

Maybe one day my GD will make me a G & T
As soon as my GD is old enough I will be instructing her in the art of making the perfect G&T!

Plant sorry to hear about your GD and also your lonely meal. Everything will revert to normal very shortly I am sure.......

We are back in St.Just, GD has been to the doctors twice, her mother was reluctant for her to return here but we are only about half an hours away and DS's family are here. Son-in-law's father died yesterday which was expected, so it is quite an eventful holiday. Had a lovely shopping trip in St.Ives with DD and GD, hope the weather improves.

I'm sorry about your SILs father, though I know it was expected.
I hope the weather improves, Plant, GD feels better and you enjoy the rest of your stay!

This is proving to be a very eventful holiday, had to go and get brake light fixed and the dog had to go to the vets. In spite of all that, we are having a good holiday, so far it has been beach weather, lots of surfing. In case you wondered I have not joined in with that activity but I can admire the gorgeous surfing instructors. There is a lovely beach cafe overlooking the beach so Grandma sits there and drinks coffee, my DS and DIL come and share a bottle of chilled wine, the rest come when they want lunch or hot chocolate and GM settles the bill. Weather not so good today, not sure what we will do, I expect the hardy ones will go to the beach
