We are now planning to go to Canada in October.
We had planned to go out and see my daughter and OH in September. Due to commitments for OH and me early that month, and needing to be back for my mum's 90th, not to mention GRU Birmingham weekend, it won't really work. I suffer from jetlag badly, and would still be suffering when we go to Birmingham, not a good idea!
I was avoiding October as two of my GC have birthdays that month. However, there are 2 weeks between the birthdays, so we should be able to go for over a week and still be back in time. As long as I can stay awake for play booked for the night before GS1's birthday, and the party itself, I will be fine
DD and SIL have been staying in airbnb's so far. They are signing the contract on a 2 bedroomed apartment tomorrow, so all being well we can stay there rather than in a hotel.
I will confirm the dates with DD and look for some flights soon
