    He was absoloutely hilarious.

    This is sad news.

He was a lovely man and always gave his all on stage. He was just as much fun off stage - happy memories of him.

    RIP Ken.

Qwerty - that's so true about not getting him off stage. He would often overrun for an hour or more! When OH and I played in a group we had the same agent as Ken and he always stayed close to his roots, and never happier than when he was making people laugh.

I got up to this very sad news this morning the whole of Liverpool in mourning such a sad sad day,he will always be remembered with great affection here.
He opened some Retirement Homes for McCarthy & Stone when I worked for them and as Qwerty says you couldn't get him off the floor when he started with his performance he overstayed his time by 2.5 hrs at the time he was older than some of the residents what a funny man.
I am so glad he married Ann after all this time 40 yrs wow!!

Glamm - he was just naturally funny, and was brilliant at making an audience feel he was there just for them.
