Nanto - thank you for posting that.
Irrespective of his royal connections (which I'm sure opened a lot of doors for him) he was a brilliant photographer - always innovating, but still pulling off the 'set pieces' for royal occasions. He was one of the first photographers to do candid photos (ie not posed) and he caught the Swinging Sixties perfectly. RIP.

I have been reading an account of his life this week, he had so many affair and actually had fathered a child which was born 3 weeks after they were married. He had a baby with partner 30 years younger than him, when he was 67. He certainly was a very talented photographer and a charming man.What is life if full of care we have no time to stand and stare
