Just got home from our TG meeting, it's blowing a gale with really heavy rain. Nearly blown off my feet ☔️💨

Apart from the letter box on the front door rattling, the winds didn't seem to do any damage. We took down our hanging baskets ,moved the planters and put them on a sheltered spot on the patio. Even all the rubbish dumped in next doors 'garden' stayed where it was which was a surprise!

It's been blowing a hoolie here all night and still blowing now. OH is off to golf, I fully expect to see him back before long....😆

It was wild when we were driving home from dog training at 10.30 last night. There was a lot of tree debris in the road and every time we drove past a gap in the trees it blew the car sideways! The hall where we do dog training has a tin roof and the noise from falling acorns was like gunfire. It all felt very wintery and I hope it doesn't mean we're going to get a stormy autumn.

Didn't hear anything if we did have strong winds and everything seems to be in place.

Good job you weren't in the caravan Daisy, you would have been rocked to sleep.

All looks peaceful out there this morning. Had a really good nights sleep, didn't hear a thing . Lovely blue sky and sunshine at the moment.🌞

Plant - we were rocked to sleep every night by the constant gale! In fact it seemed odd on Sunday night being in a stationary bed!

Oma - One leaf!!! How dare it!!!

We were both home by early evening and didn't go out again. We heard heavy rain, and some wind, but nothing very dramatic.
