Apart from the letter box on the front door rattling, the winds didn't seem to do any damage. We took down our hanging baskets ,moved the planters and put them on a sheltered spot on the patio. Even all the rubbish dumped in next doors 'garden' stayed where it was which was a surprise!Bring me sunshine in your smile.

It was wild when we were driving home from dog training at 10.30 last night. There was a lot of tree debris in the road and every time we drove past a gap in the trees it blew the car sideways! The hall where we do dog training has a tin roof and the noise from falling acorns was like gunfire. It all felt very wintery and I hope it doesn't mean we're going to get a stormy autumn.

Didn't hear anything if we did have strong winds and everything seems to be in place.
