Enfys, Can you just ask your GP for a referral to go to the local Council run sports centre/swimming baths.

Wellllll about 4 /5 years ago I was fanatical doing 2 hours of step aerobics and Yoga every day , never missed a session even when we had the boys all day I still did it , yes I felt energetic and lost 2 stone but then due to too much impact I pulled my knee joint out ripping the ligaments damaging the soft tissues etc . I was in agony for months I am still not allowed to kneel down and it accelerated the arthritis , after going from doing that to full rest with not even a stroll the weight piled back on and I never got back into it, I loved Yoga but cant do any core or balance work now but to be brutally honest ive got a couldn't care less attitude now
Im not fat just 6ft too small

Glam, you certainly can around here. The sports centre has to participate in the scheme but worth finding out. Our centres are council run.

Enfys - I think we have a similar scheme. It sounds really worth while, and well done to you for sticking at it.

Oma - that's the trouble, as soon as you stop exercising the weight is waiting round the corner to ambush you. It's not fair!
