I have noticed that a woman from India has given birth to twins by Caesarean section. The twins were conceived after IVF treatment. Her husband is 82 and later that day, after the birth he suffered a stroke and he is now being treated in hospital.
Now whatever your views are on IVF I think this is a completely inappropriate treatment for a woman of this age.
Just because a couple haven’t been able to have children naturally doesn’t give them the right to have a child at all cost. There should be a cut off point when the couple get to a certain age . There are so many younger people out there who this treatment should be aimed at.
You have to wonder that the ‘company’ who gave her this IVF treatment just saw the £££s and the welfare of mum and the bday(s) were of little consequence.
