I love seeing all the signs of spring. Our friend whose parents have farm was here yesterday, I should have asked her if there are lambs yet!

We always have a shopping list. I can't imagine shopping without one though I do tend to go off list. If OH is on his own he sticks rigidly to it but then stands in front of the fridge complaining that he wants something (snack like) to eat and there isn't anything. I've taken to writing myself a note if I think of something that need doing otherwise I just forget.

When DS was about six he had an America exchange teacher for a year. She used to write a list of the day's plan on the side of the blackboard but she noticed that DS's shoulders got more and more stooped as the list grew longer and his school work suffered. She tried explaining that he didn't have to do it all at once but that didn't seem to help. In the end she just wrote a now and next list and added to it through the day and he soon got back on track.

Shem - I know how your DS must have felt. give me a long list and I go into headless chicken mode (not that I'm suggesting your DS was like a HC) and don't know where to start and feel I have to get it all done at once!
