Have you seen the new milky grey colour for cars? It makes me think of undercoat!

Grauntie - I know exactly what you mean!

We once bought a new-build house that was painted in a dark battleship grey throughout. In the 70s, of course! We became very friendly with the builder and one day I commented about the dark grey everywhere and he said he'd chosen it because he was fed up with Magnolia. Fair enough, I said, but it's a bit oppressive. The next houses he built he did each room in a different, fairly bright colour! I can imagine the purchasers were getting paintbrushes out before they'd unpacked the kettle!

Funny iam not a fan of yellow clothing but I bought a yellow dress and cardigan and I love them I feel bright when I put them on , No idea why I bought them it must have been on a whim 😁
Yellow was one colour I could never put on my DD as a little one , she has Olive toned skin and looked jaundiced like you WG

I never wear pink, although it is not colour I dislike. I bought a new pink top this summer, and have really enjoyed wearing it!

I think there's a lot in the theory that you need to look at your skin tone when choosing colours of clothes. My mother liked sludgy browns, moss greens and other similar colours but the make me look ill. My skin tone is totally different from hers.

                Mustard and beige for me.
I never used to like orange , but I’ve now got orange walls in my kitchen, not sure how they got there, really.

We have friend whose favourite colour is orange. She always has an orange or terracotta colour car, has several orange items of clothing and a lot of orange around the house. Her walls are beige though.

GJ - sometimes colours just creep up on you, don't they. I'm not a lover of orange, but our bedroom colour scheme is grey, black, white and orange, and I do like it.

Gem - back in the 60s, I worked in an office which had a burnt orange wall. It was thought to be quite funky at the time!
