Hopefully it won't just be 'Went to dentist. Came home'

I’ve had my Freedom pass for fifteen years. It’s the best thing ever, we’ve got to know london and the money we would have spent on fares now goes on concerts, museums, cafes and restaurants so everyone benefits. Or will now lockdown is easing.

I will get mine next year , but to be honest I cant see me using it ,
Even if we didn't have a car we are so close to our large shopping Mall and Retail park I can walk there in 4-5 minutes they are just across the road ,

We have Asda , Sainsburys , M&S, Aldi for food shopping
And most of the big names for everything else , Matalan ,Clarks , Peacocks , Roman Originals , Bon Marche , and many more ,
plus main Post office, Card Factory ,Wilko , all the major banks , Cafe's fast food
In fact we are extremely lucky to have everything on our doorstep

Oma - it's hard for me to even imagine having all that retail temptation within walking distance. It always sounds like a Disney park (in a nice way) - everything on tap and built for convenience.

Daisy we are lucky we have more shops than even the City centre I think ,
We also have a Lidl, Iceland Warehouse B&M a few minutes drive in one direction ,
B&Q another bigger Aldi ,Carpet right and several other units in the other direction ,

Only places we have to drive more than 10 minutes is Morrisons and Tesco .

Oma - that's incredible It all looks so well planned for convenience for a lot of people, but just being able to stroll across the bridge is very useful!

Oma - It's quite a contrast to where I live, isn't it! We have a few shops in the village - just 10 minutes walk away - but more and more they cater for tourists not locals. Two small town centres 5 and 8 miles away, there are a couple of out of town retail places, but they're very tiny and are mostly the 'warehouse' type of shops - furniture, DIY, etc.

Of the shops Oma has mentioned there are several I've never been in - there probably are branches somewhere within 20 miles, but I've never seen them. I'd never heard of Roman Originals and I've just Googled them. There's one about 15 miles away in Bournemouth.

But we've got plenty of trees.

So have we Daisy Thousands of them
But it is a large new town sort of place many large housing estates , I don't think you would like all the Hustle and Bustle

The Bridge leads us directly to M&S food hall New Look , Next , Peacocks , Clarks , Matalan , Aldi, Halfords , Home Bargains , Pets at Home , and up till Christmas The Burtons group of shops but they have all gone to the wall haven't they so not sure who will take that large unit on .
These are all on the retail part , then a little further on the bridge leads into the Main shopping Mall ,

To be truthful until I wrote them down I didn't realise how many we actually have , its like everything you just take them for granted
