Are you a summer or winter person? (or do you love all seasons equally?)
Why do you think you feel as you do?
I am totally a summer person no doubt whatsoever. Summer, spring, autumn, winter is my order of season preference.
The things I love about summer are many.
Long days and light evenings, spending so much time outdoors, flowers and greenery everywhere, no coats, scarves, boot etc. Balmy evenings, lovely outdoor socialising. Days out, holidays.
There is nothing I dislike apart from extremely hot days when I can't be in the shade.
The things I hate about winter are- Short days. Dark when you get up, dark by mid afternoon. Cold weather, grey miserable days, dark leafless trees. Snow and ice making walking and driving difficult. Very few opportunities for outdoor leisure activities and socialising. Being holed up inside.
Things I like are - Christmas and anything which brightens up dark dismal winter!
When my two older children were small my husband worked evenings in the theatre, getting home at 11 or later. With two small children in bed, I was stuck at home alone every night. No internet then, and very few TV channels! I didn't mind in summer but I hated being closed in in winter. I can't remember if I hated winter so much before that. I don't think I did, so I do to an extent blame those years for my intense winter hatred.
