That was the age of very elegant cruise liners. I bet some people had huge amounts of luggage, with all the formal dining, etc.

I bet it was far more elegant than the trolley you get nowadays.

To right Daisy, like the first flights where the seats were wider and you had silver service ,
A by gone era that they should bring back,
But they won't as it's all down to profit isn't it ,
            Squeeze them in charge more.

Yes, I remember when you had proper cutlery and plates etc when flying, and even proper food! People would dress smartly to fly on holiday. I had a friend who always wore a glamorous hat and often got given an upgrade if one was available.

I remember going to see that. There was such a lot of publicity for the film, and all the stunts etc.

I don't remember that Daisy but I do remember Goldfinger. We were staying with my auntie uncle and two cousins in Nottingham. My mum and her SIL went to see it and I remember them both being very impressed by Sean Connery!

I always like Roger Moore as Bond. I liked the bits of humour, and much later Daniel Craig.

Oh Daniel Craig was my bond man , (swoon) 😁
But Sean Connery had it all 😁
