If you see me talking to myself, just move along ... I'm self-employed. We're having a staff meeting.

It amazes me how much exercise and extra fries sound alike.

The inventor of the doorbell did not own a dog.

Or a baby who has just gone to sleep!
My pet peeve is anyone phoning the house phone when the baby is asleep.

Gem, that is a real nuisance if baby has just dropped off to sleep and gets woken up. I honestly can't remember any of ours being disturbed by the doorbell or a barking dog, although I think the phone ringing in the same room would have disturbed all of them.

Daisy we don't have a doorbell but I imagine it could wake a baby . To be fair the phone has never woken them once they are upstairs asleep but I already think it will, rush to get the phone and stage whisper a frantic Hello into it

I told my suitcases "no holidays this year". Now I'm dealing with emotional baggage.

If it barks or purrs it is 100% reliable.
