    Good morning ladies
Getting my post in early after yesterdays late one!

    Cute ducks Nan2

I hope MIL comes to realise and accept that her carer is there for those jobs Oma!

Aqua this morning, then off for my massage this afternoon. Two visits to cat (and guinea pig) as well. DD and GS1 are having a lovely holiday in the wilds of Scotland to star watch, so I'm glad to do this to give them a break away.

Monthly treatment for OH this morning.

        Thanks Oma.
OH shouldn't be long. Just the usual checks, injections and collect the meds for next 3 weeks.
Going to have my shower lunch now before I go out again

Oma, fancy your Mil ringing you at that time, I hope she doesn’t do that every day. Congratulations to your GS1 for getting his degree. Is he looking for a job or having a rest?

I hope GD1 and GS1 are having a lovely time, sounds interesting Gemini.

Dressing on my leg renewed yesterday, it is every week now instead of 4 days. DD is away next week so DS will be taking me. It is only to my doctors. Leg brace will poss. Not come off until I see a doctor at the hospital, poss another two weeks. I have to be ferried everywhere, don’t like it. Board games this afternoon, a friend picks me up, plus my walker. I manage around the house now without it.

Quack, quack Nanto, love your ducks.

Nanto, the ducks remind me of Indian Runner Ducks. They stand upright and literally run instead of flying or waddling like ordinary ducks. I agree about workmen. I don't want silent grumpy people in our house.

Oma, pot trolleys are so useful. We've got quite a few large pots and too heavy to move without wheels. OH has made a trolley on 4 casters and a rope for pulling - a bit like the homemade go carts we had when we were young! But being able to leave pots on their own trolley is even easier.

I hope B's blood test goes ok and MIL hasn't rung with some new demands. How is the carer coping?

Your oak doors sound very nice. We changed all our internal doors some years ago - they were the awful sapele doors all houses seemed to have in the 60s and 70s. But the airing cupboard and built-in wardrobe doors were non-standard sizes, so OH got someone to veneer them in oak. He made a lovely job of them, and the oak looks much nicer.

Gem, I hope OH's treatment went smoothly. A busy day for you, but hopefully the massage will be good relaxation. I wonder if pets know they upset us when they ignore us if we've left them for a while. I hope DD and GS are having plenty of nice clear nights for star watching.

Plant, your poor leg. You must be feeling very frustrated that something that happened in seconds is taking weeks to heal. But things are going in the right direction with longer breaks between dressings and being able to manage round the house without your walker. How kind of your friend to pick you up for your games afternoon.

We took Eva for hydro therapy this morning. She was a bit stiff on the injured leg yesterday, so I was glad we had booked today's session. She's slept most of the time since we got back. OH is going out tonight so I cooked dinner for lunch-time. We can just have a sandwich tonight.

We ran out of bread yesterday so I put a loaf in the breadmaker on a timer last night. Last time I made bread overnight I woke up about 3 am smelling the bread and it took me ages to get back to sleep, so last night I thought I'd time it to finish about 7 am today. I don't know what I did wrong, but the smell of baking bread seemed to last all night! I suppose there are worse smells, but it kept me awake!

The carer is a lovely gentle lady ,
She has a week off from the 28th, they are sending a replacement, god knows if MIL will take to that one or not.

I love the smell of fresh bread , I think I would have had to get up and have a slice
                Bread is my downfall ,
I'm not bothered about sweets or chocolate but bread I love .

Did you get to games afternoon ok ?
It's good your getting around without your walker but do be careful,
                Don't struggle ❤️

How is S is she ok ?
How was your massage did you feel better after it ?

Bs blood test are just routine because of his kidneys only being at 27% he has to have them done every few weeks .

Got a picture of GD today , she is growing up fast ,
Looks like her Mam where GS2 looks like my DS his dad.

Nanto, I have mixed feelings about the smell of bread baking. Sometimes I like it, but other times the smell can be too much. It's the same with the smell of toast.

It's been less sunny today, but quite heavy. I was ready for a rest this afternoon, but I've just spent an hour or so pottering round the garden, mainly watering. I went to fill the bird bath in the front garden and there was a wren looking disgusted that the bath was dry. I hope she came back after I'd put 3 pints of water in. I was surprised a couple of days ago how quickly one of the bird baths in the back garden was drying up - then I saw the reason. Eva was drinking it!
