MIL seems to like the carer , she is a lovely lady,
MIL had another fall on Thursday, carer couldn't lift her herself so had to press her telly care alarm and two nurses came out to help ,
MIL is ok but yet another reason she can't be left alone.

We are going tomorrow to do her shopping and to take her carer to Morrisons with us so she can get some shopping of her own.

It must be so frustrating for you not being able to get out but you must think of your safety ,
My DD loves her garden but SIL isn't a bit interested, he wouldn't think of watering the pots if DD wasn't there .

I have done my ironing then I cleaned all the windows inside and the mirrors ,
I don't mind doing windows it's easy with my Karcher.
Im not fat just 6ft too small

Very pleased for you that Mil likes her carer Oma. Is Mil going shopping with you as well as the carer? Oma, I would like to get out more but am satisfied with my games afternoon on a Wed and there is also a lunch at the hall coming soon and there is quite a lot of activity going on in our house most days. H came in the morning with some fruit and a warm drink. They have now gone into town to get or order her school uniform for next year. Getting my meals can be quite tricky but I manage and there is often a contribution from DD next door.

I have a window Karcher Oma, I find it very good. Ironing, well that is out of the question for me to even put the board up.

What is life if full of care we have no time to stand and stare

Nanto, many congratulations to Mum and Dad. Your GGD is gorgeous, and has a pretty name as well.

I don't know where today has gone, and I seem to be thinking that quite often these days! I took Eva out very early again. It's just too warm for her later in the day. There wasn't another soul about, but plenty of ponies and foals. The ponies were sensibly under the shade of the trees. The foals have yet to learn this strategy for hot weather!

I got some washing done and then seemed to spend a lot of time on messages and phone calls. All nice things.

Gem, it must be quite difficult balancing the needs and interests of your three GSs with the age gap. We were, and still are lucky that out GCs enjoy each other's company, although they don't get together that often. They always seem to have lots to chat about and interests to share. GS2 and GD1 are particularly close and keep in touch with each other.

Oma, I would have laid bets on your MIL finding fault with her live-in carer, so I'm delighted that things are going well. It must be a relief to you and B.

Plant, I can feel your frustration over the garden. Last summer when I didn't have the energy to do any I found it very frustrating when OH's and our neighbour's help were not exactly how I would have liked something done. I was very grateful to them both, but so wishing I could do it myself. They are both still helping, but I have managed to do some jobs for myself. I'm glad you are able to join in with some of your regular activities, and, as you say, having your family there is great. I hope GD was able to get H's uniform ok. It seems early to be thinking about September, but things sell out so quickly.

Lizzie, dry needling sounds very painful. I think you were extremely brave!

We've just been to the hospital with DS1, spent a lovely 1½ hours there.
Posted two more photos in granny support.
