Library morning, then I am meeting C and the other C (my school friends) for lunch. That's always a nice long affair.
OH was away playing a golf match yesterday and again today. Filey this time, with a meal after. Fish and chips and a pudding . Lucky them
I think I will have something more substantial for lunch then no need to cook tonight!

Yes MIL didn't help our cause at all ,
SIL2 rang her last night she said she will only have them staying a week 🙄
It's started before it begins, we are going as I said before to have to fight with her,
It's so tiring.

My mouth is surprisingly ok , dentist said I would feel discomfort for a few days but it's not bothering me ,
Hopefully it stays like that till the 23rd when the bridge is fitted ,

Mind you the temporary crown is ugly it's a bit bulky to protect the tooth , and I can't put my false tooth in so I also have that gap,
I will just have to laugh and smile with my mouth shut 😁

B has just gone for another scan then this afternoon we have to visit MIL ,
This decorating is never going to get finished,
We are hoping nothing turns up tomorrow.

Good Tuesday morning everyone.

We seem to be having the promised heat wave, but there's a lovely breeze as wel. The hills aren't getting any easier but at the moment we're both happy to lounge around doing nothing more energetic than having cool drinks and reading. 👍🥰

Been to the hospital MIL had us in fits ,
She genuinely believes she has to interview for live in carers
We told her she will get whoever is allocated to her,
Then she said I hope I get one that can cut hair I need mine cutting ,
B said mother she's their for your daily needs only ,

Then she said her thumb nail was hurting as she has split her nail ,
I said I will go ask Abby the nurse for a plaster,
She said your going to ask for a food parcel?
God we are not that desperate that we need hospital food .

She then asked the nurse doing her meds if she had any cannabis 🤣🤣🤣

She was full of herself today .

Hallo everyone, I will catch up more tomorrow, shattered!!! I decided to re-pot some plants, I have been to the garden centre, twice! They are all done now I am pleased to say, decided I can't do the heavy ones anymore!!!

DS1 got home late Sunday evening, then left this morning for the same journey!!! Wimbledon now for the 2 of them, home late on Thursday as GD2 gets her certification presented on Friday.

GD1 has just phoned, she loves it where they are, her friend has a scooter here so they have rented a scooter and loving it!!

They were in Margate a few days last week, they call it a "hidden gem"!

I am going to get myself some dinner done.

Feeling very sad, heard of the surprised death of a person my DD went to school with . Her mother only died a few months ago. She was like another DD to me, DD is very upset. I will hear more about it when I go to games tomorrow. Had the dressing on my leg changed again today, not healed enough yet so dressed again. I am bandaged from toes to knee.

Oma, well did they have any cannabis? I think your mother-in-law has become hospitalised and has no reaality thoughts about life beyond the ward.

I had good afternoon with my two school friends, always lovely to be with them.
OH had a good golf day too. It's been quite hot here, but with a breeze so not at all unbearable.

The lads who did my drive are doing the one 3 doors down so I asked what I could use to clean the edging stones ,
I didn't want to pressure hose them incase I damaged them.
He said I tell you what keep us going in coffee today and I will put a coating on them before we go home ,
He did and they look so much better,
It sort of seals them and brings out the black.

I hope Daisy is having a nice relaxing time , it's what she needs .

B is painting the walls today and I am hoping SIL can paper my front wall at the weekend .
I was supposed to choose a carpet yesterday but by the time we came from the hospital we couldn't be bothered to go out again ,
We are back visiting tomorrow and Friday , Friday isn't our day but I'm at the cardiologist so silly his sister coming from Newcastle when we are already there,

MIL is coming home on Monday with live in carer , They phoned yesterday ,it won't last but has to be tried.
They wanted to send her home on Friday but the spare room has to be organised for the carer first.
