Make the most of the day while you can ,
What time do you fly tomorrow?

    Lizzie
I hope they can help it sounds so painful,
You do have lovely views if you can see over the parks and trees.

    Daisy
Hope the consultant was on time but you know he might not be😁
Has J finished next doors lawn?

Well we went to next , I got some nice cushions just plain light green and a couple of cream ones for contrast,
but the curtains for the price were poor ,
We then went into the metro centre ,
There is a shop called Rowans and online they had a lovely canvas for the wall but I didn't want to order it without seeing it first.
I was very disappointed they didn't have anything in they had online , to be honest I didn't like most of the stuff it was all a bit blingy for my taste .

From there we went back to Dunelm and I found a lovely pair of beige/cream herringbone curtains .

Dr been to see MIL again , put her on oramorph and told her she has to take deep breaths or she will get an infection,
She is taking sharp little breaths because it's hurting but Dr said it's the worst thing she can do and although it's painful she must breath properly.

We are going in tomorrow, I will bring her washing home with me .

Lizzie, it sounds like progress. I do hope when the specialist phones on Thursday it will be with a treatment plan.

Oma, I think you've enjoyed your shopping today, despite some disappointments. You'll be very pleased when everything is in place. I hope MIL remembers to take deep breaths, and the oramorph deadens the pain. Will the nurses keep reminding her?

Gem, you've hardly had time to relax on your holiday, so I hope today was good. xxx

I got a few jobs done in the garden. It took me ages to undo the Jasmine from its support and spread it out across the fence. I found quite a few self-seeded tomatoes in a plant trough, so I've potted them up and hope they grow. Some are quite a decent size, so fingers crossed.

The Consultant was quite happy with my latest blood results, so onwards and upwards with treatment on Friday.

That is such good news , I bet you were pleased,
How lovely to find the tomato plants , I hope they grow.
Nature is good at looking after itself isn't it 😁

Yes she will be given the oramorph regularly by the nurses.

I opened my new curtains to make sure no faults , they are heavier than I thought and a nice colour.

We are thinking about having the block paving taken up on the drive and having a resin layed ,
B is researching it before we decide as it's a bit expensive but would be easier to maintain,
Does anyone have it or know someone who does?

Oma, two houses noy far from us have had the resin done. From what we have seen it looks good.

Daisy, glad the consultant was happy with your blood test results.

On our way home from town,we paid a visit to sis in law and hubby.
We had just got home when they rang and asked if we fancied going to a garden centre.
So, we decided to go. Hubby kept looking at plants and what have you, but i kept reminding him we don't need anymore.
They bought a rose for a friend whose hubby had died recently.

That's what we thought Nanto , it would look tidier.
My DD. Is like your hubby she has no room but keeps buying more plants , she can't resist 😁
How lovely to buy the rose , it will be a memorial for her dear husband ,

Oma, I only know one person who has had a resin drive, and he was disappointed with it. I think it started to break up, but I'm not sure. I'll ask J if he can remember. DS2 also looked at having theirs done, but decided against it in the end. I'll ask him why.

Nanto, I'm with the people who will always squeeze in one (or two!) more plants. You can't have too much of a good thing. I'm sure your SIL's friend will treasure the rose. It's a lovely way to remember someone.

I was really tired after gardening this afternoon, so had a rest and read for an hour or so. We had a salad for tea, so that was easy. I've just got back from walking Eva. She's still worried about thunder though. At one point three planes went overhead, above the clouds, going in to land at Bournemouth, and she wasn't happy. We'd just started walking again when another plane came out of B'mouth, right overhead. Still, it's getting better, slowly.

                Good evening everyone.
I have just read through your posts

We have had a really nice final day .
Breakfast, reading by the pool, pool and sea swims morning and afternoon ( only the sea one for OH!) A little walk to the nearby bar for lunch. I am feeling well, unlike the majority of the holiday, so good all round

We are being picked up for the airport at 9 in the morning, flight at 12.50.

Talk to you when we are back. We have been checking our Ring camera, so not expecting any sunshine or anything like that!
