    Good sunny Thursday afternoon, everyone.

Nanto, sunflowers create beautiful sunshine feelings. I bet your washing dried well.

Gem, I'm glad you both slept better last night. This weather will be perfect for your week-end at Center Parcs. It will do you all good to have a change of scenery and hopefully relax a bit. I'm sure P and M will get spoilt with your catsitter.

Oma, I hope the cream works for B. If it's the same as I had it does work really well, but looks a bit of a state while it's acting. MIL doesn't get any better behaved, does she. Well done for keeping the smile on your face.

We had an early start for us. I took Eva out for a walk round the block before we went to her hydro session. The way the sat nav sent us is awful, and I don't know the town very well - just one small area of it. I realised last week that the facility is on the edge of the part I know and I knew a much shorter route home. It's also across a very attractive part of the Forest, which OH had never been on before. So the journey became a pleasure instead of an endurance test. Eva was very good on the treadmill, but she made it clear she was working for treats! She had a shower afterwards as well. It's surprising how tiring 20 minutes is, and she's slept since we got home.

OH has painted the new parts of the summerhouse door and it's looking much better now. I hope I can get the tender plants out soon and give it a good clean and tidy up.

Gem, nice to have the weekend away to look forward to.

Daisy, well done to Eva. I did get the washing dry.
Didn't get it ironed as we had visitors.

Oma, hope the cream works for B.

Well done Eva ,, I. Would have only worked for treats as well 😁
Isn't. It annoying when the sat nav takes you the long way though .

        Nanto
I have a load of washing to do tomorrow,
I hope I can get it out.
Visitors are better than ironing any day 😁

I hope all the packing is done Gem and you can relax tonight. Xxx

Gem, I hope you're having a relaxing evening. What time do you leave tomorrow?

Nanto, the ironing can always wait!. It always seems to wait in our house!

Oma, you conjure up a lovely image of you paddling on the treadmill. I just need to know what sort of treats you'd do it for. On the way home the sat nav on OH's phone couldn't find our house. Luckily we could! Neither of us could work out how to switch the darned thing off. I didn't mind, it plays into oH's hearing aids so I couldn't hear it.

Well Oma and Daisy, we are relaxing, but everything is not done! Luckily I wake very early nowadays so can finish then. Having little E, plus a late afternoon GP appointment, GS needing bath and hair wash then me driving him home, time has flown.
I had to smile when DD said they were all packed! We would have been too in their position!
I am more or less packed and we don't need a lot for 3 days. Spare bed and steaming of floors will be left until tomorrow.
Daisy, we hope to leave here late morning. We need to collect our cat sitting friend first and show her everything. She did it once for me many years ago in my last house with different cats, but not here. DDs 2 and 3 and I have spa sessions at 3, we will be there in plenty of time.

OH didn't play golf today due to her hip pain, I hope it doesn't spoil the weekend for her.

Good morning, Gem, I hope that you all have a lovely weekend and that the weather is good, it certainly is here, I saw yesterday that it was 7 degrees above the average for the time of the year. Where are you going, is it far to travel?

Daisy, I do use the sat nav if going anywhere new, but, always look at a map first to find my own way if necessary. I had to go to the other side of Delft the other day, on the bike, a few weeks ago the father of a man I know from the bike shop was killed crossing the road I never liked crossing, trams etc, no traffic though. I had already decided not to take that route again so that settled it for me! I looked at Google maps and cycled along the water instead, still very busy with students etc but safer.

I have to be at the hospital early on Monday morning, going by bus!!

I have got my table and chairs out on the balcony, M from next door came and helped me turn the table when I had finished screwing the legs in, we had just finished when GD1 phoned and said she was on her way! She would have helped. I had been to the huge garden centre, took the lady from the first floor with me, they fled Iran many years ago. She loved it, especially the food hall! We were there early, left just after 10am, it was getting very busy as we left. I got the plants I wanted, that is what I really went for.

The shingles are clearing, as soon as I take one of the tablets I feel the difference, another 40 to go!!!

                Good morning.

Lizzie, does your neighbour from Iran still have family there? If she has, she must be quite worried.
It was kind of you to take her with you.

Gem, have a good weekend. Hope OH isn't in any pain.

No plans for me, just the usual housework.

Hubby out later, meeting his pal.

                  Good morning ladies.

Lizzie, it's the Sherwood Forest Center Parcs . About an hour and a half drive for us. The weather forecast is good.
Bad timing for you with GD arriving after the work was done

We will have wifi when we are in the lodge, so I will keep in touch!

                      Good Friday morning, everyone.

It's a beautiful sunny day, and I've got 2 loads of washing out - unheard of for me! I'll pop back later, and catch up properly.

Nanto, the friends close family are here, but, they still have family there, very worrying for them all. They do have a celebration today, they celebrate their New Year and having the day at their DS's . They were cooking for that on Wednesday when we got home, there will be 15 of them.

                            Beautiful, Lizzie.

I had a nice afternoon with my DDs at the spa.

We have just eaten, one GS in bed, one to go. DD2 is driving home. We are looking after GS2 until Sunday.
We picked up the mobility scooter and I drove it back!

Nanto, I hope you were able to relax and enjoy the sunshine today. We have to make the most of it. I'm loving the cheery graphics and all the flowers. xx

Lizzie, how dreadful that the bike shop man's father was killed on a road which you've always said was too dangerous. His family must be devastated. I like to have a look at a map as well. I like to get a picture in my mind of the direction and distance. It must be worrying for your Iranian friends. I hope their wider family are all safe and your friend's been able to celebrate their New Year. Thank you for the lovely photo. Isn't spring blossom beautiful. It makes me feel winter is over and we can look forward to better weather and more sunshine.

Oma, treats noted! Did you finally go to Dunelm? How is Storm? I feel so sorry for him, they don't understand what's happened to them.

Gem, I hope you have all settled in now, and both GSs are in bed. I hope the afternoon at the spa helped you all to relax after the journey. I can see there will be competition for the mobility scooter. Sleep well. What are your plans for tomorrow?

I seem to have had a busy day. I've washed everything in sight except the bedding. It's been a great drying day, but of course, there's now the ironing. We've put my study back together after the girls staying. We've got stacking beds in the room, so I stripped those and we put them back together. OH carried my electronic piano back in to the room - it's too heavy for me. I like getting any room ready for visitors, but it's nice to put it all back together afterwards as well.

I tidied the dining room. It often gets used as a dumping ground for those things you know you'll put away, one day. We've got a niece and her OH coming for lunch on Sunday so at least the room is ready to use now! I'm going to do a roast, with apple tart and meringue nests for puddings. We haven't had a roast dinner for at least 4 or 5 months! I'm looking forward to having a good catch up with niece J. Her husband T and my OH will no doubt be busy with car talk.

                                Good morning. Foggy this morning.

Daisy, i didn't enjoy the sunshine yesterday, because we didn't get any.

Gem, glad you enjoyed your spa afternoon.

Lizzie, lovely photo of the church.

Going into town later, meeting DS2 for a cuppa.

Don't need much shopping, just some salad stuff, but it's gets us out for a bit.
