Martha's done a good job and The Granny's Rest is looking spick and span and ready for us all to break our New Year resolutions. Dry January? What's that!!!
Barperson, I'd like a whisky and dry ginger with ice, please. The cockles need a bit of a warm up on this chilly night!

But they will also find that we are kind, helpful and make good listeners, and good advice givers when needed.Originally posted by Nana View PostHa. This thread's making me smile. I'm just imagining when GRU goes public. They'll think we're as nutty as a fruit cake

Quietest pub I've ever been in, looks as though it needs a good clean as well. No staff on duty tonight so I shall have to serve myself. A nice cold glass of Cava would go down a treat, I had to work today but will now celebrate having the next 12 days off."What doesn't kill us,makes us stronger."

LG - we've been quite abstemious just lately!
But it can all change!!!
While I'm here I'll have a small brandy as a nightcap. Errrr.... barperson! not THAT small. Perhaps you'd better make it a small double!
Perhaps we need to give the old Granny's Rest a bit of a makeover as well as a spring clean. Any suggestions, ladies?
