    Despite a lovely warm and sunny day, it's gone a bit chilly, and I need to get up to speed for Birmingham!

    I'll sit by the fire with a Scotch and dry ginger, please bar person. Anyone coming to join me?

              Yoo whoo, Gem - I'm making up for last night, and getting some practice in for Birmingham.

              I'd like a dry sherry in a tall glass with loads of ice, and some olives to keep me going until dinner time.
