    She was great, I thought she would be complaining all the way home as she was in the back with him! I advised her to cover her nose with her scarf if it got too much, but it didn't seem to bother her. She was chatting to him and making him laugh most of the way home.

      Oh, Gem. I remember it well! It's the biggest drawback with babies. Thankfully, we're now past that stage, and GD2 much prefers the 'grown up' loo to a potty.

                  Awwww. Thank you. How lovely of you. The decorations look amazing. What a wonderful surprise. I'll have a So' Co' & lemonade please. Wet the babie' s head. No one here but that's ok. I'll just put my feet up & enjoy the moment. Time for some R&R.

                      Gem, I was just thinking about a cognac to warm me up after a day spent gardening and dog walking in arctic conditions, but the mulled wine has swayed me. Let's add another log to the fire and warm up!

                              It's been a bit quiet in here just lately, but I thought I'd pop in for a nightcap after a busy day. The fire's still casting a nice warm glow and those comfy armchairs look so inviting.
