It was close call between full English and pancakes when we went out for brunch yesterday. I had the full English (we both did) so I will have the pancake stack with syrup and berries today, please Mariella.

I see they are trimming the bushes back around the pond , the ducks are all at one end not happy at all but it will look better when its done .

Its nice to see the squirrels running around they are funny even though they can be pests , good for the little ones to see

Hello, Oma. Can I join you keeping an eye on the activities round the pond? It is a hive of activity, but no heavy diggers or anything, so it's probably just cutting back overgrown bushes and making sure the edges of the pond are safe. Don't you just love watching small children enjoying messy play. They love it.

I'll have a pot of tea, please Mariella, and a nice steaming bowl of porridge.
