As it's Nanto's Grandaughter's wedding day Mariella has laid on a little celebration.
Free homebaked croissants and other pastries for this morning then little celebration cup cakes for the rest of the day. Shhhhhhh - there are a few bottles of champagne in the fridge as well, so we can toast the health of the bride and groom. And it wouldn't be a wedding without a cake - Mariella's excelled herself.

Oh we love an excuse for a cake in the Tea Rooms don't we Daisy?
The cake is gorgeous. I will have some later.
I think some of the delicious pastries, a cafetiere of house blend coffee, and maybe a teensy Bucks Fizz will set me up for the day“A grandchild fills a space in your heart that you never knew was empty.” – Unknown

What a beautiful cake. Lovely to have something to celebrate. Feeling peckish so I'll have a full English & black coffee please. Followed by a Bucks Fizz please to toast Nan2's GD."Good friends help you to find important things when you have lost them....your smile, your hope, and your courage."

The Tea Rooms are still open. There's a large bottle of hand sanitiser on the table by the door and more bottles in the loos, and, of course, in the kitchen. Mariella and her team are taking every precaution to keep you safe, so you can enjoy the delicious breads, cakes, biscuits and light meals on offer every day.
It's a lovely sunny morning soI'll sit in the conservatory while I have breakfast. I'll have OJ, croissants with raspberry jam and one of Mariella's special cafe au laits. Any one coming to join me?
